Beloved FRiends, please lift my dear husband, John, up in prayer. He is suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding, pain and has lost a lot of weight. His doctor has tended to polyps and other lower intestinal maladies, but the bleeding has returned. He is weak, tired and of course afraid. But I know his Redeemer Lives.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we lift John up to you. You created him according to the pattern You made for mankind. He belongs to You and we ask that you regulate his body back to its normal state. Give the doctors wisdom as they oversee his recovery, we pray. Amen.

Father we ask that you watch over John and if possible heal him. Give him comfort and relieve his fear. Grant him the strength to continue his fight and give wisdom to his doctors. We ask you this in the name of our Lord Jesus.
Our prayers are with the both of you during this trying and painful time. May God heal your husband’s body and lessen the pain as He also brings you the comfort and knowledge to help your husband during this stressful episode in your lives. God is the Great Healer!

Having lived through a life threatening situation, I will happily add John to my prayer list. As I tell folks, people praying for me whom I will never meet is a big part of the reason I am still here. May God bless John and all those you love
