Card had recently reported experiencing mental health issues, including hearing voices and making threats to carry out a shooting at the National Guard Base in Saco. This is the most infuriating part in all of this - he needed to be in a locked facility b/c he was a danger to the public, which indeed turned out to be true.
So sorry for the families involved in this tragedy.

This is stupid speculation. To get to Massachusetts, he would first have to go to NH. So why not speculate he went to NH or Canada.

In many cities/counties, the local law enforcement/DA people will not lockup anyone. They play some type of legal delays until the crazies go ballistic.
