As the Marxist Democrat revolution pushes forward, House Republicans have once again failed to take legislative action, and the Reconciliation Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery is scheduled for demolition no later than January 1, 2024.
An amendment to the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act was recently presented by Representative Bob Good (R-VA).
Unfortunately for defenders of the Reconciliation Memorial, Rep. Good’s addition to the defense spending bill was rejected four days ago in a late-night vote that saw 41 Republicans break away after Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R – AL), who spoke in favor of the amendment.

Why in the world should I love this nation anymore? I love the principles on which it was founded and I stand with those who agree. I love the land and most of its people. But I can no longer possess an iota of fondness for its political apparatus nor can I share a flag with anyone believing we’ve remained on a correct historical track. Whatever “America” is left for me to live exists only in memories or dreams of rebellion.
“…left for me to love….”
In 1898, when the Spanish American War erupted, former Confederate states supplied important U.S. forces, “burying the hatchet,” to fight along-side former Union foes. Reconciliation and teamwork between the Northern and Southern soldiers facilitated a swift victory in that war—lasting only four-months.
President McKinley, a Union army veteran, recognized this healing that made the military exemplary. He told the nation, “Sectional feeling no longer holds back the love we bear each other… The Union is once more the common altar of our love and loyalty, our devotion and sacrifice.”
In June 1900, McKinley supported a bill to establish a Confederate section in Arlington Cemetery. That resulted in the reintering of some 260 Confederate bodies from various burial places to a designated section of Arlington Cemetery. A few years later, Secretary of War William Taft received a request for erecting a monument in that Confederate burial area—Section 16. In 1906 it was granted.
Moses Ezekiel, a world-renowned American sculptor, the first Jewish cadet at Virginia Military Institute who served in Confederate army in the Civil War, was chosen to create the monument that would capture the fullness of the spirit of reconciliation, serve as memorial to the hundreds of dead Confederates buried in Section 16, and be recognized as a prominent “Peace Monument,” commemorating the reunification of the North and South.

It has never been a one way ratchet in the past. Only until 10% or so of the people on the right decide to take on the 10% on the communist left.

You’re not alone.
Take a number and get in line.
By then, there won’t be anyone left who remember where it swung FROM.
There will be no Reconciliation this time.
Are there no History Buffs who can tell why this Monument was necessary?
We need our Own Homeland !
Yes, the memorial desecrators do not want reconciliation. They have to sustain bigotry for their political survival.
After this DC Globohom Regime collapses, an appropriate revenge would be the King Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.
Want to waste everything sacrificed in the civil war, undo the reconciliation
And start
civil war chapter 2 ?
Cuz this is how you do that.
Now that they got their slave trade back they are getting frogy.
( by “they” I am not talking about the average non slave holder southerner who fought to defend his home and his neighbor and the man in the trench next to him )
Legislative action? What can the repubs do? Pass something in the house that dies?
Well, if they’re tearing down the Reconciliation Memorial, then I guess that means they don’t want Reconciliation and we can go back to banning Democrats from holding national office again.
Reconciliation Monument history - thank you
Destroy all vestiges of the past. Institute new values and new institutions.
I think of the Taliban demolishing the Bamiyan Buddhas.
I think there’d be support had the south won. But it’s the only war that highlight how great losing is. I’m from Pennsylvania and always thought that odd. I mean even the southern people say, “the South will rise again.” Someday.
Recent polling shows less support for same-sex relationships.
