On the Monday edition of Inside Politics, CNN fill-in hosts Dana Bash and Phil Mattingly were frustrated that voters continued to believe their lying eyes when it came to the economy. Both Bash and Mattingly pulled out the tired excuse that cable pundits have been using since Biden first took office: Biden’s poll numbers aren’t bad because the economy is bad; they’re bad because voters just don’t understand how good things are.
Bash framed the discussion as though President Biden and his administration were the protagonists of the story: “Think about the frustrations that I know you hear, covering the White House... there have been, from their perspective, economic gains, and they’re not getting credit for it.”
She continued:
"Just look at the latest Quinnipiac poll numbers that we can put up on the screen. And it really actually shows, first of all, if you look at now, 38% of the people in this poll approve of Biden’s handling of this economy, 57% disapprove. So he’s doing better if you look at the trend starting back in March, but he’s still very much underwater. And they believe that it’s because they can’t get their message out.”

The Democrat policies ran up inflation in America and like in the seventies exported it to the world. That’s a huge contributing factor to Europes bitches as well as all the turd world.

Go two at a time to a fast food joint and see how much you’re looking at. Twenty to thirty bucks. Great economy my ass. CNN needs to wake up and face reality. There is nothing “great” about the Demented One’s economy. NOTHING!

If we actually had a great economy, I would give him credit for it if I thought he had anything to do with it.

The only person that should be singled out for improving the economy in 2023 is Taylor Swift. Her concert tour is supposedly adding 4 billion and 1/2 % GDP to the economy.

I see inflation up...gas prices up...wages stagnant....used car prices up.

It is not just the cost of food products. It is the constant downsizing of containers. My recipes call for a can of something when a can was 16 oz. Now the cans are 14 oz and cost much more. Cereal boxes if they get much smaller will be the size we used to get at school, a one portion size. Beer is approaching 9 a six pack, soda 2 liter went from 1.75 to 3.59 in two years. On and on. Insurance costs have me considering self insuring. Tip jars all over the place because a hole businesses figure if the can force out a tip their labor cost via taxes is lower. On and on. It is like our only growth industry now is scheming
Why CNN? Beczuse we don’t lie. We don’t say things are better when the truth is that they are a lot worse under Biden! Gasoline continues to be $2 more per gallon than under trump, which raises the price of everything. Else! Only a buffoon would look at the nation today and think it is better now than under Trump! We are much worse off now. I can’t even go into a grocery store and pick out meat for the freezer unless I buy the cheapest possible (ie chicken and pork)- steaks are now out of the question- wfen when on sale!
