Tucker Carlson Tells 19FortyFive He’s Still Employed By Fox: Tucker Carlson might not have a show on Fox News any longer. However, he told 19FortyFive that he was not fired.

Until a week ago, Carlson had the most-watched show on cable news.

“I’m still employed by Fox,” Carlson said in a text message to 19FortyFive.

Carlson, however, did not go into detail why he believes his show was cancelled.

I love Tucker and hope he gets a great podcast we can all listen to. He would clean up or start his own network.

It is probably worth paying him his salary to keep him off any competitor. His salary is chump change compared to his value. Worth more dead than alive, apparently.

The powers that be undoubtedly threatened the younger FOX management with severe consequences if they did not get rid of that bane of their existence. The old man in the old days would have told them to pound sand and shouted the interference from the rooftops; the kids, not so much.

Fox will likely keep him under his contract until the end of 2024 to prevent him from moving somewhere else or starting his own show

He will get paid until HE decides to opt out. It will come down to the lawyers interpretation of his non-compete.

“Just a technicality I’m sure.”

I believe the goal is to remove him from providing coverage of the 2024 election.

Holding his contract for next year and a half. He’ll have to break contract if he wants his freedom of speech.

Fox is trying to keep him from working for another network until after the election. What is to keep him from volunteering to work at another network?

So they have him in exile. Ryan and Murdoch kids have effectively silenced one of few effective opposition voices. This is all about 24. FNC must think Trump is getting the nomination so they are all in for the rats

The tradeoff is Fox keeps him bottled up for 1.5 years and he makes $20 million.

Or

He jumps contract and makes $50 million on his own network or from being offered that much elsewhere.

If he’s sitting on $20 million now, he might as well jump.

Tucker is NOT a slave!

He will negotiate terms acceptable to him.

Tucker will NOT be silenced through the 2024 elections.

He should move to Oklahoma where all noncompetes are void unless related to a sale of a business, regardless of choice of law provisions.

That would be a non-compete clause.

Someone posted here that he’s only under contract through the end of 2023.

Why is Tucker texting “19fortyfive.com” and not a bigger name?

“Freedom of speech” goes out the window when you are under contract.

I see more than a few Freepers who have completely disconnected views about Tucker Carlson and Colon Kaepernick.

My first thought when they removed him was “Black Rock and Vanguard”.

I don’t know if they specifically have shares in Fox, but I’m imagining the hand of some large investment banks in this.
