After conducting a series of interviews, the Board of Governors of the New York Young Republican Club has learned that Matthew Tyrmand, a member of our Board of Advisors, may have engineered O’Keefe’s ouster on tenuous claims of financial malfeasance.
O’Keefe is a close friend of the Club, and Tyrmand serves as a member of the Club’s Board of Advisors. Pending the outcome of an internal investigation, to be conducted by our Board of Governors, Matthew Tyrmand will be suspended from his role. We believe in free speech and transparency of operations, and the credible reports we have received require full investigation to ensure that our Members’ interests are represented appropriately.
The Club will continue to be transparent with the public as more information can be released over time.

I suspect Tyrmand just destroyed his brand with conservatives. He took bad advice from lefties. That seems to happen a lot.

I’m not sure it was advice as much as it was ‘an offer he (thought) couldn’t refuse’
After seeing Tyrmand on Bannons show a few times I found him smart and interesting. So I followed him on twitter.
After a week or so I had to unfollow him because it was not stop insults and pissing matches with others. Total jerk.
Just my limited experience.

Makes me think of my black TShirt with an American flag made out of guns. It is stunning and there was only a small run. It is pretty close to unique. Something like 20 and I don’t wear it often because it is so nice.

I loved that he mentioned Tyrmand by name today. Yesterday it was”anyone involved” (we knew who he was referring to). Today, he names names.
