The TrumpSwampJab clearly is trending DOWN in popularity. And UP in liability. Trump is a politician who is a populist. So I expect at some point before the election he will try to blame others for his failure. He’s well practiced in that regard, so it might work.

The Don has a faction of support willing to ignore massive flaws - I get it, those votes are not in question. The Bushes never lost the core of the prior establishment vote either. But still fell when challenged by the new guard, Trump, who was not afraid to bullhorn the failures of our party’s once-popular old guard.

Today The Don is the establishment candidate casting the long shadow of American deaths misspent in a war against a hoax. And Ron is the new Don - if he wants it.

I don't do flu shots and never get the flu, so I hesitated to get the Covid vax. I wanted to see how effective it was before getting it. But when they made it mandatory, I decided that was making everyone a lab rat for experimental testing. I'm retired, so I didn't suffer for my refusal.

Has anyone else noticed that those advertising standees promoting COVID-19 vaccines and boosters have quietly disappeared from their local grocery stores? Or is just here in Tennessee?

Hah, hardly awesome - but I’d decided not to take the shot. Period. Meanwhile, I was worried- I need my job and was stunned that I kept it. No matter, it’s behind me. Oddly enough more than one has said to me privately they regret taking it...if they knew then what they know now..

I think it was hard for people to stay grounded during the early months of hysteria. Including me. I don’t know anyone who wasn’t worried- we just had varying responses.

Took the first original two shots. A couple of months later I got covid followed by a case if the shingles. Needless to say, no boosters for me.
