I am bumping this post to the top of the page and updating because, well, I’ll explain.
First, thank you. Sincere and genuine thankfulness for your fellowship. Visitors to this site continue to prove that our nation is created by, and an assembly of, the most decent, honest, generous and kind-hearted people in the world. The responses to the question of ‘why didn’t you take the covid-19 shot?’ are nothing short of remarkable.
In the bigger picture if you want to fill up your faith cup and recognize the scale of commonsense assembly in our nation, take the time to read through the 2,000+ responses.
The feedback you are providing is exceptional and trust me when I say that far more people are reading these responses than you could fathom. Additionally, the responses have reasserted my belief in the scale of our national assembly. There are far more of us, ordinary, hardworking, commonsense, pragmatic and smart people, than the self-described intellectual elites would ever admit.
In addition to the responses below, there have been hundreds of emails answering the question, which suddenly made me realize that no one has really ever asked this question before in a format that provides ordinary people with the ability to respond.
There is also a yearning to talk about this issue, publicly and with deliberation; massively so. And I am hopeful (insert grin here) this small corner of the internet is about to push this conversation into a much larger national forum. Our nation needs a big conversation about this.
If I had to pick a single phrase to encapsulate the myriad of phenomenal responses to the question I would use the phrase, “intellectual discernment”; which again provides buckets of faith that a large number of people are wide awake, albeit part of what I call a potato revolution growing safely underground.
Also, unbeknownst to front page readers I am stunned at the people in/around operation warp-speed, these are people in government directly attached to the issue, who have contacted CTH on the backside, stepped forward and said they also didn’t take the shot because, well, despite their belief in the purpose and principle at the time, things were just not adding up and ultimately seemed sketchy. They couldn’t talk (so they felt), couldn’t even hint at their concern; but when it came to making the personal decision, they waited.
I also owe it to you to answer the question of my own status, which is a big heck no – I did not take the jab.
Why? Because in the preceding years of all my research into the rapidly exposed corruption of our government, there was just no way in hell I was going to trust that same system. A system that literally was working outside the constitution and legal framework of our nation to destroy a sitting U.S. President is going to suddenly care about my health. Nope, it did not align. I also looked at the datapoint of the U.S.S. Comfort delivered to New York City under the grandest of media proclamations about impending medical doom, only to see the ship sit empty and completely unused despite the scale of the narrative that surround its purpose.
Lastly, and more obliquely, the datapoint of one of my heroes Franklin Graham assembling a NY field hospital to serve over 20,000 patients; another massive endeavor that sat empty and without use. However, prior to the hindsight, it was the in-real-time fight from officials in/around the area who tried to block Samaritans Purse from setting up the facility. If the SARS-CoV-2 issue was as great a threat as declared, then why would anyone fight to keep out a field hospital that could provide such relief. It just didn’t make sense.
Those issues, and others, formed the baseline of my inability to reconcile the key issue of ‘trust’ needed to believe in the vaccine. Additionally, I am healthy and not within any of the risk factors. However, I also feel strongly that each health decision is unique to the individual person, and everyone was making the best decisions for them based on the available information at the time; so, I carry no judgement for those who made a different choice.
As noted, I am bumping this to the top of the site so that our conversation can continue. Normally I would start a new thread, but this one is different. I don’t want to break the continuity and I want to provide everyone the ability to see they are not alone.

Reader feedback request. I was quite shocked to review a poll I took on the Twitter last month showing that 85% of the people who follow the CTH Twitter account [TLR2] did not take the COVID-19 jab.
Without any judgement implied or inferred I am genuinely curious, why not?
With the situation clearly in hindsight, and/or given all the pressure that may have been applied to each individual situation, I am genuinely curious what was it that made you choose not to take the COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are comfortable, and please understand that no pressure is intended in any way whatsoever, could you share why you didn’t take the vaccine and how do you feel about that decision in hindsight?
If you did take the vaccination, there is also no judgement in this question. As I said back in 2021 each individual is unique, each situation is unique, and each person has to make the best decision about what is in their individual best interests. So please, don’t let this issue divide our conversation.
I am genuinely curious as to the reason so many people would withstand the public and perhaps peer pressure to follow the ‘vaccination’ advice. Also, how has that decision impacted your life? Did you lose friends and family over your personal health decision? Did those relationships heal over time? Or anything else you might find pertinent to the general question.
I work in a hospital.
At first, I was hesitant because it was developed too fast.
Then, I began getting uneasy with the types of pressure and where it was coming from.
I carefully watched and listened at work.
The southern border remained wide open. IF they were truly worried, it would have been slammed shut.
My job was threatened and I said, Ok, I’ll resign. They knew I meant it. I’m still at my job, still unvaxxed.
That’s all I’ll say publicly.

I was sick and tested positive. I went home and could tell I was developing pneumonia, it hurt to breathe and I didn’t care if I lived or died. I went to Hospital, and got a wake up call. No one was there, they treated me like I was the Andromeda Strain. They broke every rule for a respiratory illness, which is force fluids. I asked for a broad spectrum antibiotic, they said I had glass lung. I asked them if that was the same as walking pneumonia? They did not answer but looked at me like I had three heads. 14 hours into my visit, they gave me a dixie cup and a pee duck. I was supposed to get water out of the sink I dumped my piss into. I called my most vocal and DSHS supervisor Daughter, she demanded I be given antibiotics and listen to me pleas to be sent home. I got a asthma inhaler, antibiotics, and began drinking Tonic water at home, and lived.
Why would I need a mRNA treatment? I was immune by any measure of every disease I had heard, read about or experienced in my life.
BTW, I am stage 4 cancer and it will be 6 years in March. I had ?Covid? in December 2020, and my MO told me to get the vaxx or die of CV instead of cancer. I switched Doctors.
Smart idea. Shhhh...........they are paying attention. As the saying goes: “Anything you say can, and will be used against you.”.
I took Zinc every day for years, but had ran out of it before I got sick. I then ratcheted up my Zinc while sick. I had always used it to fight colds. It can shorten the normal 2 weeks into 2-3 days. The stores were pretty much without supplies of Zinc and I had to order off the internet, and now have plenty of the blackballed Drs recommended pills. Ivermectin and antibiotics enough for 4 more treatment cycles are already set aside.
2 Corinthians 7:1...There was evidence early on they were using aborted baby's cell lines in the development. So many ignored the truth and followed the lies. Very sad.
the people that claim the experimental shots are “safe and effective” also claim men can cut off their junk and convert to women...
I hope that President Trump has figured out by now that he was duped. If not, then he probably will not be able to right the wrong that stole the election from him and others.
They are putting a lot of pressure on doctors. My granddaughter is a PTA. She was all pro-vax to start because she’s kind of “woke” but mostly because it was vax or lose her job. I asked her recently about the boosters and she said she probably won’t take another one. I asked her what she tells her patients when they ask about getting the vax and she said she tells them what she has been told to tell them because she’s not losing her license over it. She’s only 27 and has a lot of years to work after spending a fortune on school. My doctor is close to retirement.
My husband and I have been doing the covid prevention protocol by the Frontline doctors and have done well. When my daughter got covid, she thought it was a sinus infection. She was outside working in the yard, going to work, etc., and didn’t test until they noticed at work that she was sick. She thought that since she was vaxed, she wouldn’t get covid. She tested positive and they sent her home. Once she knew she had covid she was suddenly so sick she thought she would die. It’s a mind game and they use fear to control the game.
I have had the same symptoms from severe bronchitis that you had with covid. I took the same treatment for bronchitis that you got for covid. I have asthma. I got a new asthma inhaler, an inhaler for bronchitis, a z-pak, some prescription cough meds, and was told to take famotidine. My doctor didn’t want me in the office, so she said to check my oxygen, take the meds she called in, and if I get worse, go to the emergency room or the walkin clinic for a test. When I had the really bad bronchitis the last time, it was when covid first came out and they weren’t testing everybody. I might have had covid....or bronchitis. Either way, I got the same meds that they were giving non-hospitilized covid patients.
I am thankful you recovered. As a cancer survivor, covid isn’t the only thing that could have killed you. It’s good that you have antibodies now too.
NeverJab here. Despite the constant ridiculous propaganda coming from the evil media, the government buffoons, the corporations, the clowns in the medical/industrial complex, the clueless sheep baaaa’ing “take the shot take the shot take the shot” like zombies from the walking dead. The more they insisted the stronger my resolve became to NEVER give in.
I was actually recovering from the virus when they called the “PANDEMIC!!!” and shut everything down. Late 50’s and it was like a 2-day flu and then chest cold.
They told us we were supposed to FEAR FOR OUR LIVES!…
I had JUST had it. Never feared for my life. - They were trying desperately to over sensationalize this. (Like they do with EVERYTHING else nowadays)
When our current government and media starts pushing us to do something, if one has HALF a brain, you’d do the exact opposite. They are evil; they are liars. (They are even PROUD of how good they are at these two things)
Then they started bullying us and encouraging citizens to bully each other regarding this mask and vaccine stuff.
Wasn’t it just a couple of years ago that they told us “bullying” was THE biggest problem in the USA???
Now, it’s how they treat us citizens. We comply or we will face consequences of their wrath. Plugs Biden hisself is bold enough to say it out loud.
I will die from something someday. I’m not taking a shot that nobody will tell us what’s in it; that has healthy young people dropping of heart attacks every singl day. No thanks.

I do not believe that the vax error will cost President Trump the next election; Trump supporters do not demand perfection and for the most part understand how this went wrong and still believe that he is the best hope for this country especially after the education that he has received. DeSantos was saying that the vaccines were safe and effective in 2020 and 2021.
I know that the study period for any drug or vaccine takes a long time to ensure safety. The drug companies have to do their due diligence in order to reduce the chances of being sued. A brand new tech takes a very long time.
For example Rituximab (monoclonal antibodies used in cancer treatment) was approved in Europe and Canada years before the USA. Even with human treatment (not trial) data the FDA waited another 6 years(Don’t quote me on that one) to authorize it in USA treatments. No way can you prove a new platform and a new payload in the short time they did. Simple risk vs award analysis in my own brain said to wait and see how it works. Then the hype and mandates started and it gave me more pause not less.
So I am still waiting for good truthful data on the products. Until I feel comfortable, the answer will be no thanks. Now if the disease had a 35-85 death date, I might be much more willing to gamble. It didn’t so I didn’t.
