Video: https://twitter.com/RNCResearch/status/1585733743179956224 The New York Times recently tried to convince the public that Biden’s pathological dishonesty about easily verified facts is just “folksiness,” calling his lies “exaggeration,” “falsehood,” “claims,” “embellishing,” and “stories.” Really anything but “lies.” And yet, Biden continues to blatantly lie to the American public, probably because he is no longer able to distinguish reality from his delusional fantasy world. Today, he claimed that “today, the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office.” First of all, I’m not sure where he’s getting his current gas price number because the average price of gas in America is $3.76, according to AAA. But technically, that’s not what he said, is it. He said “the most common price of gas,” which is different than the average price of gas. And the number is lower, too, which looks better for him when people simply assume he means “average.” That’s manipulative, and that’s clearly why they chose to have him say it like that. I’m honestly surprised he got that little bit of language manipulation correct. I don’t know that I’d have trusted him to say those exact words exactly right. What if he misunderstood and said “average,” which could then be fact checked as false since that is not actually the current average price of gas. Then he goes on to claim that gas was “over $5” when he came into office. That isn’t even CLOSE to true. The average price of gas was $2.39/gallon when Biden took over. But really, who’s going to care about yet another Biden gaffe, right? Probably CNN will be obligated to publish a cursory fact-check stating that Biden was incorrect. But they don’t find it concerning that he lies willy nilly about whatever he wants because he has no grasp on reality and is seemingly accountable to no one. By the way, even the people who were required to be at this event were bored and frustrated that it was taking so long. Check out this hot mic video. Libs are never fact checked.
The whole climate hysteria is a hoax even bigger than Covid.
it would be a big deal if anyone was listening to him
It was $2.29 in Mt. Airy, MD around Inauguration Day. Then it climbed during the year, until it was about $3.25 when I moved to Florida. In Pensacola, I saw it go up as high as $4.69 this past summer, and we were lucky, since it was much higher elsewhere.
It's a thing for psychoanalysis not political analysis.
No thanks to Xiden,
After points I paid $2.44 per gallon today, 1st time under $2.50 in a loooong time.
When Trump was in office gas was under $2 per gallon where I am.
In SC, our gas was around 1.89 to 1.99 per gallon and I know this because I stupidly save all my receipts and I just looked.
By ignoring it.
Magical thinking.
Biden’s always a liar, but in this case, I bet he has no idea what gasoline costs at the pump, because he never pays for it. That’s for the little people.
Some “reporter” should ask when was the last time Joe Biden drove a car and pumped/bought gasoline for it himself.
With his mental state he could easily believe he just took office 3 months ago.
Time for lefty “fact-checkers” to confirm Biden’s lie.
Next, he’ll be claiming to be Ronald Reagan.
Mean, Median and Mode.
The Mode is about as useless a value as you can find.
I’m about as far “upstate” as you can get in Idaho, and it sure isn’t $2.21.
Dementia is a terrible disease, especially in the POTUS.
that’s what it was when Biden took office. The best near me right now is $3.39...down from $5 a few weeks ago.
