Theory: Chief Justice John Roberts himself is the leaker

John Roberts, or someone on his immediate staff, is the one who leaked the Dobbs decision a month ago. The votes to repeal Roe vs Wade and Casey vs Planned Parenthood was confirmed back in February, but Roberts has always wanted a compromise of some sorts that kept R v W. Roberts panicked and decided to leak the ruling & put pressure on the other 5 justices. ROBERTS LEAKED THIS, IS NOW DRAGGING HIS FEET ON RELEASING THE DECISION, VIOLENCE FROM THE LEFT ROBERTS HOPES WILL FORCE 1 OF THEM TO CAVE

Here is the dirty little GOP “pro life” secret that all Republican administrations from Reagan through W shared. They loved to campaign against Roe v Wade and get conservatives to turn out and vote but they DIDN’T WANT R v W overturned, at least not on their watch. Reagan may be the only one who genuinely wanted it overturned but his moderate advisors (who got him to tap Bush as VP nominee) made sure it didn’t. It is no coincidence that all of them appointed a “poison” judge to the USSC that ensured Roe remained law. Think O’Connor, Breyer, and Roberts. Then Trump came along. :-)

Makes sense if JR is trying to intimidate other Justices to change heir votes. It may yet work of if he prolongs release long enough it just might get one of the Justices murdered which the Left in Congress has been urging in almost veiled terms.

The Supreme Court are not ‘dragging their feet’ to release the decision.

It is normal operating procedure (and common sense) to release controversial decisions right before they go on vacation and get out of town.

It would be pretty dumb to release a controversial decision and stick around for the backlash.
