Political commentator Mark Levin said that Monday’s leak of a draft majority opinion is a “grave assault” on the Supreme Court.
What are the details?
During Tuesday’s “Fox & Friends,” Levin addressed Monday’s leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion that could potentially overturn 1973’s Roe v. Wade.
The news on Monday evening sparked heavy conversation across social media.
“When you conduct yourself in an utterly lawless way, attacking the institutions of this country, attacking the founding documents of this country, attacking the history of this country, this is what you get: lawlessness,” he insisted during “Fox & Friends.”
He added, “”It’s just a matter of time. All these institutions are going to collapse. This is a grave assault on the Supreme Court.”
Levin recalled a time when he was an intern to late Chief Justice Warren Burger while attending law school and said that he can’t fathom how the leak occurred after having seen the lengths to which the institution went to preserve the integrity of confidentiality.
“I saw how it operated, and I can tell you this institution takes its confidentiality seriously. Why? That’s the coin of the realm,” he said. “They’ve got to be able to talk about ideas freely. They’ve got to be able to discuss this without political pressure. Why do people think these are lifetime appointments?”
The political commentator later added that the Democratic Party is complicit in “destroying this country” and said that they are fighting Republicans every step of the way.
“Of course, the Democrat Party is destroying this country,” he reasoned. “Look at the confirmation process. It started with Bork. The Democrats targeted him under [Sen. Ted] Kennedy and Biden, and it moves on to others, including Clarence Thomas, including Kavanaugh. Republicans don’t treat Democrat nominees this way. They may object to them. When you say the Supreme Court doesn’t look like America, you’re undermining the credibility of the court.
I would have though the past 2+ years would have clued them in, but apparently not.
The truly civilized part of this world is the Anglosphere. And the anchor of the Anglosphere is English Common Law. This is not an official code insomuch as it is common sense traditions which have been ruled on buy wise judges in the past and followed for centuries.
For the Anglosphere to survive, it will require citizens to continue to continue in these traditions. Much of the success of the Anglosphere is that citizens will voluntarily do the right thing. Betraying an official confidence to which you are privy, is low and disgusting. It is shameful, and reflects on the poverty of character of the betrayer. It is against the spirit of English Common Law, our law.
It should come as no surprise that the betrayer in this case is not a natural born member of the Anglosphere, but a foreigner from a land of bribery and alien customs, a golliwog.
Long time coming. Barry was the tipping point. The Left can attack US Institutions with impunity. There is no one to hold them accountable. We may win the next election but their strategy is one step forward maybe two steps back.
The issue is never the issue. The Real issues is the Revolution. It is always the Revolution.
Why release now?
Leaked to setup a summer of mostly-peaceful rioting. Which itself will usher in, this time, federal troops onto the streets.
It’s NOT for the mid-terms - one can tell this because the normal release of opinions in June would have worked just fine.
It *might* be to distract from other things... Ukraine, supply chain, 2000 mules, inflation...
But, looking at it overall, I think there is turmoil ahead, and riots in the streets is the catalyst.
Going to collapse? They have already been dynamited!!

Maybe a change of tactics is what is needed.
When the overwhelming majority of government staffers, across the board, are Democrats/Liberals and getting more radical by the day, knowing that nothing will happen to them, what does one expect?
Whoever leaked this is a hero to the Left and will be defended by the medios and an army of radical Left lawyers for free. They’re probably lining up for the job as I type.
Maybe the leak is from someone on the Supreme Court. Just appointed a new one a all the sudden a leak. Just wondering not accusing.

Your statement is a lie ... and it's a lie because if you follow politics at all you damn well know it's not true.
What is true my duplicitous little friend, is that although Mark Levin strongly -- to the point of my irritation -- supported Ted Cruz in the 2016 primaries, once Trump won the nomination Levin quickly became one of Trump's most fiercest, most vocal, most dependable, most passionate supporters and, as Trump himself has often acknowledged, helped Trump win the presidency.
You simply must know this ... and yet you peddle a vicious lie about Mark Levin. Fortunately, however, you don't possess the phenomenal skill of the professional liars of the Democrat/Communist Party that you attempt to emulate with your attack on one of America's great conservative thinkers.

US institutions GOING to collapse?
No borders, sanctuary cities, wide spread violent crime, criminals released, fentanyl poisoning, insane takeover of public schools, fraudulent elections, patriots locked up in DC prison, Disinformation Board against free speech…………AND our only worry is the grave assault against the Supreme Court, who really has been nothing more than a wing of the Democratic Party.

Leaked right before midterms as a Hail Mary for the Dems and I think, to some extent, it will work. I know people here are passionate about this, but the majority of Americans are not especially younger people. It will only hurt us for the midterms. We are a Country on the brink and I do not know what way it will go. Nothing will happen to the leaker, never does for Democrats. We won’t even hear about it again. The “investigation” will take MONTHS and nobody will care by that point. The genie is out of the bottle folks, and it cannot be put back.
We need a Constitutional amendment to keep lawyers out of politics, period!
