For those of you familiar with my work on the Cloward Piven Strategy of Manufactured Crisis, you may be interested to know that I wrote a new book: Who Was Karl Marx? The Men, the Motives and the Menace Behind Today's Rampaging American Left. It summarizes my decades of study of communism and the American Left, and describes what is going on today, how we got here, who got us here, what were their motives and the longest chapter offers some ideas on how to get us out of this ungodly mess.
Constitutional conservatives can’t fight an ideological war without knowing the author of the ideology they confront.
Jim Simpson delves into the essence of Karl Marx providing a fundamental exigency enabling the conservative movement to defeat this malevolent philosophy that’s the antithesis of our constitutional Republic.”
— Lieutenant Colonel Allen B. West
We will have to shoot our way out of this if we cannot agree to a mutual divorce.
This is the best book I have read on revolution and counterrevolution in recent memory. Mr. Simpson lays out in simple but dramatic terms the history of communism from Marx to the present — and then tells us how to combat it.
Well written, timely and brutally honest, Who Was Karl Marx? is the most important book for patriots in many years. Bravo, Mr. Simpson!”
— Trevor Loudon

True. Me, personally, I am not interested in a divorce. This country has been a blessing on mankind, and given to us by our forefathers who were prepared to sacrifice all to get it and keep it, and many of them did make the ultimate sacrifice.
She died before Physics suggested a Universe of 10 dimensions. Plenty of room for other intelligent forces to hide in.
That car you have on your Freep Page...that car. Makes my heart go pitter-patter just looking at it.
American Iron, Baby!
I pity her in that, and she is dead and knows now, but she could still be right about things for certain.
Reading “Atlas Shrugged” is a bit depressing for me lately, seeing it come to life in an America run by the Democrat Party.
Welcome to FR. I am interested in your new book, thanks for the information. I also hope that you are able to stick around in the future.
Does the book discuss Marx’s years as a writer for Horace Greeley’s Whig/Republican New York Tribune? Or his enthusiasm for Lincoln and his hatred for the American South? This usually comes as a surprise to those who have never heard of the early GOP’s socialist and progressive faction.

"Anyone reading this should know that this author is anti-vaccine and a COVID denier, doesn't believe in climate change, believes Trump won the election and supports the insurrection on January 6th…among other horrible things. Just know he has a point of view and this is not educational."
I need to dispose of books instead of getting more, so I can't justify buying it. If that is what your critics say, it Is on my "to read" list.
P.S.
Welcome aboard Free Republic. I presume you have lurked her for a while. As you can see, at times this place can be... a little rough around the edges.
Summary of book from Amazon:
The Left is rampaging across our nation today.
Portland, Oregon is burning and many other cities
face continuous looting, rioting and destruction.
And while the Antifa/Black Lives Matter mob is wreaking havoc,
destroying businesses and neighborhoods,
leaders in those communities have taken an inexplicable hands-off attitude,
even to the point of restraining a police response.
Meanwhile, the Democrat Party, Big Tech,
the media and institutional Left
have turbocharged censorship and vilification of their political enemies.
How did we come to this, who caused it,
what are their motivations and how do we stop it?
It's not altruism. It's virtue signaling and fake altruism. Alfalsism?

Thanks for letting us know! That sounds like an interesting book for sure.
Hey, Fungi-I have been conversing with you for a few years now, I have had good discourse with you, and we haven’t gone crossways on anything that I can recall. I don’t want to start now. I am tired of fighting about nothing with people who I should be allies with.
I retract what I said-I overreacted, and I apologize. That is why this forum suits me best. I the real world, I can be a bit of a hothead, and I suspect you didn’t mean it the way it came across.
My apologies-hope there are no hard feelings.
