Yup.
Rats can be relied upon to desert sinking ships.

Last I heard was 28 not running in 2022.
So this should be 30 total?

So, anyone know exactly how many Congressional Democrats are bowing out this year? Should be a very interesting number.

Most of the democrat congresscritters that are cutting and running have safely gerrymandered districts. They just don’t want to be stuck in the minority after the 2022 election.

Safely gerrymandered before the Biden residency. That might not mean as much this coming election.

28 so far. More to come. Probably 30 to 35 by the end of next month.

I am waiting to see it hit 36. As in 10% of the Congress decides not to run again.
That will open a lot of eyes to what might happen in November.

Gerrymandering is only allowed by one party and its judicial pals. The other has to twist and turn and bow and scrape.

Correct. And barring a really large red tsunami later this year, the GOP, regardless of who they nominate for those seats, won’t pick up many of them.

Not sure why writing and talking about all these Dems retiring is such a big deal. They’ll just be replaced by another Leftist.

Why do you say that? The Assistant Democrats won’t retaliate in any way. They have to show that they’re “statesmen/women”, not go for the throat politicians like the Democrats are.
