Wally, do you have a pastor who can visit you in hospital as well? They sure can be comforting during worrisome times.
I’m sure it depends on hospital policy. Some make exceptions for pastor requests. My son is one and visits.

Your doing the right thing! Most people don’t get an opportunity to cry out before they pass.
First thing: you know you are a sinner and you’ve fallen short of God’s Righteous law (like all of us have)
Second thing: you know that sin deserves God’s judgment
Third Thing: God did something for you to save you from Sin and judgment
Fourth thing: God sent His only begotten Son to take your place in Judgment. Whoever believes in Jesus Christ as Lord from heaven, and his Death for us on the Cross shall have eternal life!
Romans 10: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
