The Texas Senator who has been morphing into a wolf like caricature, left himself naked to his enemies yesterday by his own choosing. After proclaiming the J6 protestors were “violent terrorists”, the articulating stutterer must have realized he stood on a political landmine.
Ted Cruz quickly appeared on Fox News with Tucker Carlson in an attempt to regain credibility. It’s interesting that Cruz chose the Tucker Carlson show for the effort, and it’s interesting that Carlson gave him the opportunity. However, the result was predictable. You cannot create authenticity where only inauthenticity exists. If you try, what you end up with is a hole digger that keeps digging. WATCH:
…”The more he spoke of his honor the faster we counted the spoons.”
Lying Ted WAS lying.
Cruz probably remembers the good old days at Fox when his buddy Glenda Beck was a player.
NEVER forget that Glenda and the Cubano Canadian thought that handing out soccer balls and Teddy bears to illegal invaders was what “compassionate” conservatives did.
Kinda reminds me of low energy Jeb and his “act of love” comment.
Cruz is a brilliant debater when the seats are leather and the walls are old hardwood.
But outside that box he can be tone deaf as the church choir soprano.
“Hard to say of Carlson is legit or just another character in the kabuki theater.”
As much as I like Tucker, and as much as I enjoyed his beatdown of Cruz, he is under the control of his bosses.
He interviewed Josh Hawley the other day, and I kept wondering why he wouldn’t ask why Hawley why he wouldn’t grant PDJT the constitutional right of recess appointments.
All it would have taken is one Senator, but Josh (nor anyone else) wouldn’t do it. Why?
Ted is one of our very best. Saying that, I was infuriated by the clip of him. But we can’t eat our own. Tucker had him for lunch, and we have to let it go now. He is much better than at least 40-45 other senators.
My guess is that Ted got caught up in the moment trying to be even-handed and liked by his colleagues, and he choked.
I shudder to think what that would have been like if there had been access to social media during Reagan.
I mostly like Cruz as a Senator. He is much better than our other Senator, Cornyn.
I would like Cruz a lot more if he would quit trying to run for President and stick to doing the job he has already been elected to do.
Ted had a tell. It is the word SLOPPY. Who else says this in this context? He said it three times because he was flustered. Remember Comey?
Indeed he just forced him self out of the 2024 race Trump moves forward.
“Ted’s Dead.”
Teddy boy is a day late and a dollar short. Proved himself to be a closet RINO who has come out. Lost all respect for him.
I’ll say that just like Carlson is controlled by his bosses. Hawley has to contend with McConnell and the rest. I’m sure that any major deviation from what they want brings down the wrath of McConnell, Schumer, their minion, the media, donors, etc.
Donald Trump was successful because he didn’t need any of them. He went directly to the people. A shame that none of these other guys can’t seem to learn from him.
I was stunned when I saw it, and Tucker invited Cruz to come in and explain himself. Tucker was obviously stunned, too, but he did not criticize Cruz on Wednesday.
On Thursday night, Cruz was flailing and incoherent before he completed his first sentence.
Cruz should have just sent out a written message that he misspoke, apologized, and referred all questions to his written comments.
By trying to talk his way out of it, he has done 10X times as much damage to his political reputation and to his personal standing with GOP Conservatives.
This “terrorist attack” was instigated by the FBLie, Capitol police, and DC cops. The crowd was first attacked by the Feds. The crowd had enough and fought back against these provocations.
Tucker Carlson is one of the few in the media on our side. Is he perfect? No. However, he is the only thing worth watching on Faux news.
However, he is the only thing worth watching on Faux news.

If one watches news on TV at all, maybe - he sound OK at times other times he seems disingenuous. Still voting for the kabuki theater aspect.
agree-never been a big Ted fan but let’s not start a circular firing squad and get a lefty in there-this sort of mentality that all GOPers must be purist or we won’t vote for them is what got us the current lefty House and two impeachments and contributed to the election fiasco
Interesting anecdotes. In my youth we called folks like that “plastic people”.
Well, this watcher thought he looked like someone caught with his pants down and nothing real to say.
The sickening part was that the spin he tried to throw made it even more obvious that he was saying (and has often said) that Jan 6th was a terrorist event knowing that the only terrorists there were the FBI, their plants and stooges from ANTIFA etc. He doubled down on throwing American citizens under the bus, knowing that many innocents are languishing in jail. He is beneath contempt.
