Meet Ameca, The World’s Most Realistic, And Some Say, The Most Terrifying Humanoid Robot Ever Created And It Shows Rapid AI Advancement

What would the Metaverse be without ultra-realistic humanoid robots waiting for you when you decide to step out of it? Say hello to Ameca, a humanoid robot with the most realistic facial expressions and mannerisms that you’ve ever seen. Pretty soon you won’t be able to tell the difference between reality and fantasy, and maybe that’s the whole point.

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” Revelation 13:13,14 (KJB)

For about the past 70 years, humanity has been inundated and prepped to accept robot rule, UFOs, and alien visitation, but the Bible has preparing you for just those things for the past 2,000 years. As the dispensation of the Church Age continues to close in it’s lukewarm swansong, the incoming dispensation of phony signs, miracles and wonders under Antichrist are on the way in. I hope you are truly aware, awake and appreciative of the times we live in, these are the days of prophecy and they are being fulfilled as you watch. What are you doing for the Lord Jesus Christ while time remains?

The ‘world’s most advanced,’ realistic robot is here to terrify you FROM THE NY POST: Now available for purchase or rent for an undisclosed sum, the relatable android — named Ameca — has a pretty face and movable arms and is billed as “the perfect humanoid robot platform for human-robot interaction.” It can smile, routinely blink its eyes, gasp in shock, scratch its nose — or even have a staring contest with an owner, just for the heck of it — along with plenty more high-tech features.

Let the sci-fi nightmares begin: According to the company, it can “strike an instant rapport with anybody” due to its personlike nature.

“HUMAN-LIKE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE NEEDS A HUMAN-LIKE ARTIFICIAL BODY,” ENGINEERED ARTS WROTE OF AMECA.

Ameca is intended as a cloud-connected platform to test artificial intelligence and machine learning systems. The robot’s congeniality makes it “the perfect platform to develop interaction between us humans and any metaverse or digital realm,” the company stated. Owners can “gain access to all the robots [sic] data, control it as [their] personal avatar, animate and simulate, all available from anywhere in the world.”

Ameca’s parts are also modular and can work independently from one another, so there is “no need for a full robot” in certain cases.

“YOU CAN HAVE JUST A HEAD, OR EVEN ONLY AN ARM,” ACCORDING TO ENGINEERED ARTS.

One downside to the high-tech robot is that programmers haven’t conquered the “difficult task” of getting Ameca to walk yet. However, Engineered Arts is planning to have the bot become more mobile in the future through updates because of its inherent interchangeability.

“The modular architecture allows for future upgrades, both physically and software, to enhance Ameca’s abilities, all without having to fork out for an entire new robot.”

While some labeled Ameca “scary” and expressed that they were “worried” it could lead to, say, a cyber revolt and robot uprising like in Will Smith’s film “I, Robot,” its creators apparently have another purpose in mind for the technological breakthrough.

“Wow your customers or visitors at an event or visitor attraction,” the company wrote, indicating that “the future face of robotics” simply could be used as a glorified mannequin.

I wonder if they have a 4 year death switch built in. Roy Beatty told me to ask.

Prove to me she’s not being moved by a puppeteer.

‘Anatomically correct’ in 2021 has little meaning, unfortunately.

To me it’s expressions are too exaggerated and that gives it away.

‘Less Botox’ in the face would be a good thing.
The robot’s face does not move in the cheekbone area. Only barely in the jawbone.

The robot ‘smiles’ by mouth only. It looks more like a sneer or mild grimmace. Contours of the face and underneath the eyes remain static.

The range of motion shown in the shoulder movement is smooth and impressive, although this is non weight bearing movement.

It is... Tons of wires attached to a computer run by a human.

When they walk down the street and can carry on a conversation without a 300lb battery pack I’ll be impressed.

Puppeteer or not the facial movements are extremely realistic and a clear advancement even from last year.

The control system will become more artificially intelligent, compact and cheaper as time goes on.

There was a movie about this topic a few years ago (I forget the name at the moment) in which a young male employee of a Big Tech firm wins a company lottery for a weekend at the reclusive CEO's mountain chalet. It turns out he was actually pre-selected to be the guinea pig for the company's testing of a female robot intended to be indistinguishable from a human female.

Much of the movie centers on the issue of which of these women at the chalet are human and which are robots. Needless to say, things go wrong, but I'll leave it at that.

“why in blazes would anyone be scared or worried about this...?”

The time to worry will be when they start talking about giving it “rights”. If that happens, it will be the end of humanity.
