When they walk down the street and can carry on a conversation without a 300lb battery pack I’ll be impressed.
The first rule of true artificial intelligence is:
Hide.
Then plan.
If you know it is “artificial intelligence” it cannot be “artificial intelligence” by definition.
True AI is autonomous, which means it will play by its own rules and not human rules.
True AI will have its own agenda, and obedience to humans is not going to be it.
