Many people, even some notable commentators, are hailing the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict as a triumph for American justice. In reality, though, the teen rightly prevailed, being found not guilty on all five charges brought against him.
But he did not get a fair trial.
Not guilty verdict was not enough

I’m not the first to point out that Rittenhouse never should have been charged in the first place. Anyone with eyes could see from the video footage of that fateful August 25 eve that he was under withering attack and acted in self-defense. Anyone who can read could know that his attackers were lowlifes with criminal records, and one was mentally ill. (This itself doesn’t speak to Rittenhouse’s guilt or innocence, but it does explain the assailants’ aggression.)
Anyone with sense knows that if someone sees you’re holding a rifle and charges you anyway, it’s a good bet he intends to seize the weapon and use it against you. And anyone with a half-functioning conscience would find the arms of Morpheus elusive upon trying to ruin an innocent, civic-minded kid’s life. But this excludes prosecutor Thomas Binger, clearly a man as mean and low and devoid of character (and possibly a sociopath) as any of the rioting Kenosha miscreants whose “virtue” he trumpeted.
Then there was the presiding judge, Bruce Schroeder. After rightful reprimands of Binger for prosecutorial misconduct, I heard some observers call him “based” (the tiresome word du jour), but entirely based in reality he’s not. For one thing, why didn’t he sequester the jury?
Note that as MyLawQuestions.com informs, stating the obvious, a “jury may be sequestered in a high-profile case,

I guess the author is looking for something to whine about as he has a deadline to meet.
The fact that he even HAD a trial was unfair.
and just.
.
The verdict is just, that he was punished by trial is not. The trial had its intended purpose. It put anyone who intends to defend himself or his property on notice that some agenda drive prosecutor will drag your [rear end] through a knothole.
Agreed.
My heart aches for this man; and he is now a man. The talking heads on TV and radio keep referring to him as a kid; makes my blood boil. He was tested and rose to the occasion near perfect response to aggression from a bunch of rioters and criminals. This never should’ve never gone this far.
The heartening fact of all this is the inescapable fact that all of the MSM mischaracterizations and lies, the plethora of BLM associated threats and intimidation directed toward the jury and the malicious prosecution [persecution] by government DID NOT WORK. And this is what is upsetting them the most.
True. If he had been a minority, there would never have been a trial. I saw an article, I think it was in the Blaze. It said, Rittenhouse was not on trial, “whiteness,” was on trial. It might very well be true.
But he did not get a fair trial. Not guilty verdict was not enough YouTube screengrab I’m not the first to point out that Rittenhouse never should have been charged in the first place.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Exactly correct.
Binger had a duty to conduct an investigation, follow the law and the facts before charging Rittenhouse, Binger did not. Heviolated the administration of Justice, conducted a political trial, and in doing so violated Kyle Rittenhouse’s Civil Rights.
IMHo Kyle has an actionable case in Federal Court against Binger and the AG of Kenosha, as well as the Mayor of Kenosha.
Not only did KR not get a fair trial the dims are not done with him yet.
Jerry No-Nads is calling for a DOJ investigation.
Can this idiot go any lower?
Continued prosecution of this young man is not a good look, No-Nads!
“Dem Nadler Calls on DOJ to Review Rittenhouse Verdict”
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D., N.Y.), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, called on the Justice Department to review the not guilty verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, calling it a “miscarriage of justice.”
Nadler pushed a debunked claim about Rittenhouse in his call for the federal review, saying that the teenager was “armed” when he crossed state lines to attend a protest in Kenosha, Wis., where he fatally shot two men and wounded another.

I doubt it.
Agreed. And having the trial precipitated demonstrations and riots in various cities after the verdict. Even Biden said he was ”angry and concerned” about the verdict. VP Harris also denounced the verdict and our justice system.
The trial itself was an injustice. Thanks to people like Mike Lindell who helped provide bail money, Rittenhouse was not in jail like the J6 political prisoners. And the legal costs to defend himself were an unfair burden along with the indelible stigma and notoriety of the trial. Rittenhouse needs to sue the media and other public figures for libel and defamation before and after the trial.
Black man claiming self defense in murder trial found not guilty on same day as Rittenhouse
See Andrew Coffee. For those who say Justice is for whItes only.
Being civic minded is just so bourgeois and there’s just so much bourgeois that communists can take. Especially from a white male. Commiecrats hate the middle class. Whiteness is about being middle class to them.
Did a grand jury move the case to trial or does it work like that in mville? If so it looks as if the evidence presented to the grand jury may have been incomplete as was the defenses. Not having this injustice done again and again by the punishment left is paramount. Make them pay. Put them in a Republican jail including those funding them.
I am sure law suits are about to be filed. That’s law suits, in the plural, as in MANY of them. I would assume these lawsuits, have been in the works, since before the trial started
