10 Shortages That Are Getting Worse
FinancialSurvivalNetwork ^ | 10/13/21 | Kerry Lutz

The global supply chain is in complete tatters. Tens of thousands of items and services are in short supply or can’t be found at all. This is leading to higher prices, a/k/a cost-push inflation, and a general decrease in the purchasing power of all fiat currencies, be it the US Dollar, the Japanese Yen or the Euro.

The choice of items to include here could fill volumes. We picked things that often appear very obscure, such as ketchup or pallets and yet are staples of modern life.

Pallets Wooden shipping pallets are required to transport almost anything imaginable including: paper goods, food items, auto parts, diapers, etc. Until now, they’ve always been plentiful and taken for granted. During the past year, pallet prices have more than doubled, going from less than $7 to over $15 now. According to Bloomberg, pallets are now a hot commodity, which has led to hoarding and even theft. While lumber prices have recently decreased, pallet prices have kept going up and continue to do so, while supplies will remain extremely tight for the foreseeable future.

“Ron Klain, Valerie Jarrett and their disciples are employing Cloward-Piven, to turn America into Chicom Vassals.”..without a clue what will happen to them in the aftermath.

Look at what Castro did to all his fellow revolutionarys.

Thanks for the link. I just checked Amazon, and wet cat food is available there is well. So Tractor Supply and Amazon can get wet cat food, and deliver it to your door. Yet my local grocery store is unable to get any.

This whole thing is very weird. But I guess when you have a bizarro president, you can expect to live in a bizarro country.

So far not seen pet food shortages, just the HIGH PRICES. 4 LB $20.00. Unless you are getting the very low end.

Gets much worse it will be a 2 egg/cheese/canned veggie omelet divided.

I’ve got 2 12 lb pet-aholics, their food has been measured per the bag’s label, with 1 treat for teeth cleaning a day, Vet loves I don’t let them get fat as many lapdogs get. They get fed once a day, fallen people food is a bonus.

But human items is another story. My Thursday Kroger trip was a nightmare 2 cashiers, nearly empty milk products, berries empty, plenty of over priced raw veggies, I can’t digest, even de-seeded. Fruit is sugar not on Type 2 Diabetic list. Carbs either, but bread was spotty spots. I read labels for Sodium, Sugar, Carbs. So frozen stuff and lots of meat/seafood is now frozen, changes how it cooks. FULL ISLES HALLOWEEN CANDY, SODA, CHIPS, BOOZE.

Hygiene items doubled in price, senior stuff especially, Fixodent is $2.00 higher than before the stolen election. Really pushing Adult Gummy Bears, weight loss, sleep aids, Supplements in adult dosages, would harm/kill a toddler. Even vids for making your own MMJ, CBD, HEMP ones. Colorado is only state that bans these 3. Watch Fen laced ones show up.

We keep their water dishes filled. The vet’s reasoning was that we needed to keep the tartar down and the crunchy food would help do that. Plus, we do have kitty tooth brushes.😺

“arbitrage!”
Pallet options? Pallet futures contracts! How about...palletcoin? No actual pallets, but electronic virtual pallets?! I like the way you think!

Ketchup and Condiments Believe it or not, Heinz is facing Ketchup production shortages. The situation is so bad that it has unveiled a new roller type of packet that enables users to squeeze out the very last drop of Ketchup. Since the pandemic, America’s favorite condiment has been in near constant short supply. Supplies of other condiments, such as mustard and relish are also limited. As expected, prices are rising and the consumer is paying more.

BOTTLES ARE PLENTIFUL, COVID CHANGED THAT HABIT TO PACKETS, same salt/pepper, they use to just put back in the bin for them; use to be just drive thru or take out. I don’t enrich Kerry’s pocket. Other brands not heinz out there.

Idiots even went to plastic utensils, when the commercial washers for plates, glasses is a germ killer. And utensils are metal, washable.

I have bought rolls of copper coins-not pennies, but collectible coins from precious metal dealers for 0.99 an ounce. That was a few years ago. Last I checked, they were $1.99 an ounce, for .999 pure copper. May be more now.

Propane up $1.20 per gallon last week alone and it isn’t even that cold yet.

Ha.... good thing I’ve been saving pre-82 pennies for the last 40 years.
