Please say a special prayer for my mother, who is going in for back/spinal surgery next Friday. This will be her third try at correcting the damage done after 40+ years of being a registered nurse, spending hours on her feet in patent leather nursing shoes, lifting and carrying patients when needed and essentially premanently injuring herself in the process. She is an 81-year-old cancer survivor who has had two previous surgeries, and can now barely walk without the constant assistance of my live-at-home sister. She has become dependent on Percocet to help relieve the pain. With God's help and blessing, she'll make it through this one last surgery and be able to complete physical therapy rehab, and no longer need to be in a mental fog and semi-stupor of painkillers so she can live out her last few years in dignity and with some semblence of self-mobility. God bless you all, and thank you for your prayers.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you give Viking2002’s mom a good outcome from her surgery, that she will come out of the surgery well, and will get relief from her back problems, and be able to get off Percocet as quickly as possible. Heal her body, soul and spirit, and give the doctors and others providing care, wisdom and knowledge. In Jesus Name, Amen.
May the HEALING Hand of our LORD touch your mother soon.Amen

We pray for the mother of Viking 2002. After a long career of lifting others, we now lift her up in prayer and ask that You lift her up with Your healing grace. Please bless her medical team with knowledge, skill, and caring. Give her a successful surgery, and a full and speedy recovery.

I want to thank everyone who has sent prayers aloft for her so far. I came to find out today that it took a team of paramedics to get her back into bed and give her a preliminary check for injury. She is currently sitting in her favorite chair, convalescing from the fall. Two of the grandkids stay with her while my sister is at work.
Prayers up for your Mom. She sounds like a real trooper! God be with you all.
Lord God, Jesus Christ, make the surgery of Thy servant a success and give her years.
