I still think it is possible that the entire Covid-19 “crisis” was intentional, to allow an easier path for the Dems to get rid of POTUS Trump. The more of this info about Fauci that comes to light, the more I am convinced that he conspired to facilitate the election of SloJoe.
Or go over to a major pharma company in a cush job doing nothing other than offering them his government connections/rolodex.
That’s how that works.

It’s not like Fauci has practiced medicine or even dealt with Covid much, unless you count daily news, pop culture late night shows, print media, speaking engagements, press conferences... Fauci had more media coverage than ANY Hollywood or music celeb in the past 14 months. He has had more media coverage than folks that make their living from being a celeb: Kardashians.
Now he writes a book where he tells us the truth (where he’s a hero of sorts), according to him. Hahaha
The idea of the silent professional that is apolitical (neutral) and truly empirical/logical in his decision making is long over. The modern senior government bureaucrat is like Comey, Fauci, Holder... Every function of government today is part of the political chess game. Every decision made is measured and weighed against a political backdrop.
Why did Fauci go with masks? We can only guess. But based on his emails even he knew it was all bullshit and you can be be sure of one thing, other considerations besides “science” played a huge factor.
Why did Fauci push the China Wuhan and made made idea aside and make it appear like a crazy conspiracy theory? We can only guess that too. But what we do know is that even he didn’t really think that was all just crazy talk, and considerations other than logical scientific, open minded decision making played a part in what he said to the public.
Trump should have planned an exit strategy for him over a year ago. That he didn’t is one of the biggest disappointments of his presidency.

Because he didn’t work for Trump. Instead he was sidelined from press conferences and didn’t speak to Trump for months and he didn’t do anything he recommended.

Not just possible, certain. Listen to statements made by various people over the recent years talk about epidemics and virology ie: Obama, Gates Fauci and others. It has long been planned. The initial estimate of 2 million deaths in US is what the plan was; but Trump was elected not Hillary. They banked on her being in office to keep everything shut down and destroy the nation.
