Open request for prayers regarding an OLD TIME Freeper: Appalachian_Dweller has just this day been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He has no health insurance and he’s a 55 year old former smoker. He is one of my closest friends and has had a mighty influence on this site, even though neither one of us has been here recently. When I first met him, here, back in the late 1990’s, we began a friendship that eventually led to a meeting and then an extended stay as our guest in our home in Miami, Florida along with his wonderful pup, Clyde (since crossed the Rainbow Bridge).

Hi Folks! THANK YOU all so much for the prayers!
Everything is scheduled.! I’m feeling really good. It kinda weirds me out knowing I have a golf ball in my chest, I don’t feel a thing. Strange. I wonder if I can keep it. After all, I grew it. :-)

Maybe ask the doctor ahead of time to put it in a jar for you when they take it out ? I forgot to ask my oral surgeon in January to give me my rotted tooth to see what it looked like. =8-0>

You should have done as my buddy in high school did. He carved a molar out of the jowl of a feral hog he shot and put THAT into a jar. For the next twenty years he told everyone it was a wisdom tooth of his!

Hi Folks! The bronchoscopy and biopsy are scheduled for tomorrow morning. I should be home tomorrow afternoon. It’ll take a few days for the results to come back. I will definitely post the results as soon as I get them.
