In urban areas with lots of apartment buildings and high turnover of renters, it is also easy for the Rats to commit high levels of “mail in” vote fraud. The same apartment may have been rented by two or three people a year.

Over time, that means dozens of former “residents” will receive ballots at a single address for the Rats to illegally process - er, I mean “harvest”........

I get a few calls like that every month. If I'm working at my desk on a mindless task when the call comes in, I string the dope along for as long as possible.

I even give as much personal information as possible -- but not mine. It's usually a combination of the names, addresses and phone numbers of prominent local people I don't like. LOL. At some point the Indian dude on the other end of the line -- who always uses a totally white American name like "Bruce" or "Jacob" or "Jonathan" -- realizes he's being conned and hangs up.

Lot of us in Illinois have been victims of ID theft for the purpose of unemployment. I got a letter from state telling me that my application was determined to be fraud. Next day I got the debit card. Not me. All straightened out now. I think it’s inside job at the state.

This notice came, in the mail, to my house, from NY State unemployment office, asking for update about claims made last December

Clearly someone had filed fraudulent claims in my name.

Also check your credit scores for any unusual activity.

I'm in good hands. I did a flurry of buying on the credit card via PayPal and had phone calls from both, asking me to validate purchases.

If you ever Google yourself, you will likely find all kinds of inaccurate information linked to your name because whoever compiles all the bits and pieces of information about you for these people search sites makes wrong assumptions about your connection to the information. Your brother’s name was probably “associated” with you, so someone used it as his mailing address.

I got a “warranty call” the other night at 2am. Sent my adrenalin into gear as I thought it was my mom’s medic alert going off....or a relative (overseas) may have passed. Hard to go back to sleep. 😡

After doing some checking and finding it was not a neighbor we opened the envelope.

Where I used to work, there was a workaround to avoid having to deal with tech support whose heavy Indian accents were sometimes almost impossible to understand. You’d press 2 for Spanish, then, when someone answered, apologize for hitting the wrong selection. Voila, an English-speaker would take over.
