Imagine for a moment what would have happened if a white cop shot an unarmed looter of color during one of the numerous BLM riots over the summer.

The shooter panicked, IMO. The most charitable thing you can say is what a negligent discharge. The video of the event clearly shows two or three officers in tactical gear within an arm’s reach of Babbitt. They could have easily pulled out of the window if they thought it was warranted. They didn’t and the SHOCK they had when she was shot was evident in the video.
