Firearms manufacturers are certainly in the crosshairs as both the Democrat's campaign website and his stump speeches have specifically targeted the industry. So let's see what a Biden presidency might mean for gunmakers and potential sales.
Shooting through the roof
Industry observers dubbed former president Barack Obama the greatest gun salesman ever because sales soared during his administration due to fear he would enact strict gun control legislation. FBI criminal background checks more than doubled during his eight years in office, rising from 12.7 million in 2008 to over 27.5 million in 2016.
The industry went into a three-year slump following Donald Trump's upset victory four years ago. Yet in 2020, background checks are rocketing to record levels again, surpassing even the heights reached during his predecessor's administration. Through October, the FBI says the National Instant Criminal Background Check System has already performed 32.1 million investigations.
Notably, while sales began rising in early 2019, the trend markedly accelerated in March of this year as riots and civil unrest broke out across the country. The National Shooting Sports Foundation says background checks jumped 80% that month and have remained at elevated levels each month thereafter.

One thing for sure is that Biden is quoted as saying: "Our enemy is the gun manufacturers, not" the National Rifle Association.

There is nothing to buy now, and by the time any new stock would be ready, Biden (if G-d forbid he is sworn in) would immediately have the ATF find a way to block sales vie EO and shut down NICs.
What exactly does the “online sales” ban mean? Does that mean if I purchase something from Bud’s Online Gun Store, and have it shipped to my FFL dealer, that this will be illegal under the new Biden totalitarian regime?
This all hinges on senate control. With a dim senate, we’re more than screwed.

Fake news, there is plenty of online ammo to be had, of course the cost is higher but it is available.
Biden has promised to ban online ammo and gun sales but for the time being there is plenty.
My local gun store has plenty of pistols, Glocks, S&W, etc. Plenty of AR's too.

1) Remove Gun/Ammo Manufacturer’s and Gun Dealer Liability Protections.
They won’t be able to get insurance and be will swamped with lawsuits that they all will fold. No new guns will be manufactured and no guns & ammo will be sold.

As for ammo, yikes looks like 2x for most rounds, and virtually all lower tier brands like Wolf & PMC, (i.e. no Federal, Hornady, etc).
We don't know yet but expect the worse.
Tennessee runs its own BGC system. No federales involved.
It is my understanding that when a gun store folds, the feds get the store’s sales records.

I-1639 said you have to take a 'safety course' in order to buy an AR, (or any other semi-auto rifle),the exact guidance wasn't clear so gun stores have been giving a free 15 minute gun BS session and then give you a certificate.
No restrictions on buying pistols other than not able to take immediate possession of it.
I bought a Glock 43 last Christmas on a Saturday and got a call from the gun store to pick it up on Wednesday, all background checks are done by local LEOS.
Buy now. This isn’t going to end peaceably.
