This makes me sick to my stomach. If I’m being honest after my original comment... I was really hoping you guys would all come along and convince me that he just doesn’t have any supporters etc. But Alas... it is not to be.

Not only did hardly anyone show up, but think about a campaign structure. That means the local campaign chairperson that has worked all year didn't get recognition. That means that the local council members or mayor didn't get face time on tv. There was no chance for fellowship between campaign workers. All the people up and down the line in a campaign organization or political structure have been eliminated from the event. What's left? A bunch of media personnel, a few insiders, a few screened guest, and a lot of security.

In 2012, the weekend right before the election, I stood on a highway overpass and looked at the stream of cars below. Not one BO bumper sticker. Not one Romney bumper sticker. Nothing at all. The level of enthusiasm there was lacking, for each side. Yet BO won. And people here say Romney (remember all of those big Romney rallies? but they pale in comparison to the size and number of the Trump rallies) “threw” the election.
