Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced Wednesday that there will be no charges filed against two of the Louisville police officers involved in the shooting of Breonna Taylor, while the third is being charged with “wanton endangerment.”
Detective Brett Hankison, the officer who shot Breonna Taylor, has been indicted on three counts of “wanton endangerment in the first degree” by a grand jury.

I am on the ground in Louisville.
Retail shops outside the city are getting the word to close their doors at 8PM.
A city-wide curfew is being imposed starting 9pm tonight.
Yesterday (Tuesday), all major intersections in the downtown area had K-rails and utility trucks blocking and redirecting traffic. And there were blacks,singly or in pairs, at every street corner opposite the Louisville Metro Police cordons.

We’ll see if they actually ENFORCE that curfew though. Last time they had the curfew in June there were still protesters in the streets well after hrs. I don’t have a lot of faith in our state gov and city mayor after 100+ days of protests. Stay safe, FRiend. I’m just south of Louisville and watching my hometown descend into this madness hurts on a level I cannot begin to describe.

Last time they were here in June there was a shootout between NG/cops and patrons at a black owned BBQ in the west end of Louisville (well known as being the ‘ghetto’ part of the city) Cops didn’t have bodycams on, each side said the other shot first, and the BBQ owner died in the crossfire. The police chief that was set to retire at the end of June was fired the next day. Interim police chief just announced on LABOR DAY that HE’S stepping down at the end of this month. Things are, to put it lightly, a bit of a mess here.
Deploy them with job applications and bars of soap. Those will surely dispurse any unruly liberals.

Hankison did not shoot Breona. He was indicted for reckless endangerment for shooting into a neighboring apt. The cop who shot Breona was not indicted.
