Many people grow up in homes and environments where "stupidity" is taught and drilled into everyone's heads. I know people who grew up with pictures of Jesus and FDR on the walls of their home, and in once case the kid didn't know who was who. They never knew anything different.
Then they leave home and think for themselves. But they come back for holidays etc and are chastised/yelled at for even THINKING about voting for a Republican. I know people of Greek descent who were treated like war criminals by their Grandparents for saying they'd vote for Bush instead of Dukakis.
That familial/peer pressure is strong. And yes, minorities are ultimately voting against their own self-interest by voting for Biden, just like my Greek friend would have been worse off voting for Dukakis. But freeing people trapped in that milieu requires tact and diplomacy - you're basically saying "your friends and family were dead wrong, mate."
I'm not saying they should be treated like a snowflake...people need to know truth. But wielding "stupid" isn't helpful; Jesus didn't say "y'all are a bunch of dumbasses - worship me."

I don’t know. They are in Denver and had plenty of smoke lately, didn’t even want to go outside. Now it’s the park. They were going to take the kids to a pool where you have to make reservations way ahead of time, but they are wondering now if it’s a good idea.
