The election comes down to this… Victor Davis Hanson was on with the Hon John Anderson AO, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, to discuss the upcoming 2020 election. The interview was excellent throughout but the key points were made by Hanson at the end of the interview when talking about the upcoming election at the 9:35 mark:
We are going to wait and see what happens in November to finish and there’s three or four things that we don’t know what’s going to happen. Either the virus is going to wane. If it wanes by November, Trump will be elected. If the lockdown stops and the economy starts to show real signs of recovery, he’ll win.
If Joe Biden gets out on the trail and seems to be cognitively impaired in some way, Trump will win. And if Trump has a greater degree of discipline in his expressions he’ll win. If that does not happen, he’ll lose.
So it’s, we’re all waiting to see which of those four or five factors will play out and how they will play out. But they’re on everybody’s mind and they govern every policy decision, every editorial, interpretation of them.
Unfortunately, everything is weaponized in this country. I’ve never seen anything like it. I grew up in the 60’s and even that was not like this. It’s scary.
But civilization, I really believe is on the brink because if these forces come to full power, they’re going to be taking names and they’re not going to want a union of thought. They’re not gonna want, they’re not gonna be gracious about their victory. They’re not going to want unity and healing. They’re gonna want to hunt out and eradicate their opponents. That’s what cultural revolutions always do. They’ll do it again.
A Biden Administration lead by the Soros Cabal will eliminate Free Republic in every which way.

They’ve already said the first thing they will do is search out everyone in govt who has been an ally or helpful to Trump and fire them. So they are planning a purge. Govt first, presumably conservatives next. Just remember that Google has a record of every web site you have visited and used it to make a profile of everyone using their product. They know who we with them and who is against them. No doubt they will make the list available to the govt.

If one makes a large number of odd, unrelated, impulsive searches over time, the record becomes confused. As a writer, I have often spent a period of time on something relatively arcane or technical or historical and I also have periodically used it for spellings, especially of historical names/places in other countries.
Add that my browser, the search engines, and the various ad algos have never gotten any of my rural locations consistently correct, nor has Google Maps nor Bing. They have a heck of a time with rural locations.
For elders, I think they don’t have accurate info prior to the late 90s. I know they get my age wrong, often, and without social media, I don’t show up in the relational connections/Venn diagrams.
It helps if you have a variety of legal names from marriages or a professional use or nicknames used over time in different venues and it’s even better if your familial relationships are dysfunctional and therefore less available. Common names can return so many hits, you must know exact age and location or relatives to discriminate. It’s more difficult in states without partisan registration, so it stands to reason that changing party in states that do would add to the confusion. Political/charitable donations can always be made via paper check from an account not readily identifiable with your name. For owners of a variety of real estate, people often use an anonymously-named trust or distribute ownership among family members, some distant enough or with different enough surnames to not immediately show up in the relational connections.
I’ve noticed that people my age (late 70s and older) have dropped off the net searches over the last few years and these are not folks who have died. I think it takes a year or so for change of address to update and propagate. OTOH, people whom I know have passed are often not listed as such, nor are there always death notices, again, especially if they have no family or that family is dysfunctional and widely distributed,
I’m not a threat, per se, so none of that matters much, but others could take a lesson and muddy their own waters.
And be careful with those trackers on the mobile phones and portable devices. I have nothing allowed on my Kindle except downloading books and reading. I rarely utilize a public Wi-Fi. I know people using RFID blocking envelopes for their phones when they travel.
I do still use Goog for conversions and people. Otherwise, the alt search engines are just fine. I cycle between them, too, and sometimes, as I’ve become more wary, the actual information I want can be searched for in roundabout ways. It isn’t even necessary at times to click through to the site if the nugget you’re after is in the rich snippets.
And that is a very likely scenario should the commies win.
