The defense attorney for the Minneapolis Police Officer presents a case with video evidence showing George Floyd had Fentanyl in his mouth and that he died from an overdose.

I saw a video of that. There is a very small dot on George’s tongue. I was wondering how they know it wasn’t a breath mint?
There is the blood work, which I believe shows how much fentanyl was metabolized and how much was in his blood. They may be able to project back dosage timing.

Fentanyl causes a narcotized and anesthetized state where in there is slow and deep breathing and peaceful sleep. No matter what and if he had on his system having someone kneel on your neck past the point of j responsive is a terrible plan and awful optic. Out inability as conservatives to condemn this behavior is a losing proposition. Period.

None of this provides any reason for killing Floyd by having Derek Chauvin put a knee on his neck for 9 minutes.
As I wrote elsewhere, I get that in 2004 many people defended the war in Iraq and voted for Dubya because to do otherwise meant President Lurch. That was a political decision.
It seems the same political calculus is afoot today: part of this nation can border on saying that the killing of Floyd was ok because saying otherwise puts them in the side of the rioters. Similarly, part of this nation can border on saying that rioting and burning and looting is ok because saying otherwise puts them in the side of the police.
We need to call balls and strikes. I see no error or moral crime in holding these beliefs simultaneously: George Floyd was not as pure as the driven snow; the police have a difficult job to do; not all LEOs good guys; the cities of the nation should NOT defund the police; rioting and destruction of private property is NEVER legal or something to be championed; and a competent cop would have arrested and subdued Floyd without killing him.
This whole fiasco is like almost everything else over the years the left has chosen to rally around. It is all based on a lie. The whole ensuing s**tshow is based on BS not unlike ‘hands up don’t shoot’ or the many other martyrs and rallying points of the Marxist. The main problem with this particular event is many on the right also jumped on the MSM driven bandwagon. Innocent until proven guilty went right out the window. Of course they may still yet be found guilty but you’d think by now that the right would know how absolutely corrupt and untrustworthy the MSM is not to mention the left but I repeat myself.

The thing that triggered these riots was the MSM reporting of the Floyd demise and spiking the facts behind his condition at the time. Because of that getting those facts out are desperately needed

The democrat controlled media racist killing reporting was a deliberate miss portraying of the six foot seven inch 200 plus pound Floyd as an innocent black who was being forceably restrained because he was black not because he was resisting arrest.When He was legitimately arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 dollar bill he was resisting arrest and was a threat if not secured. But the media was not mentioning his size or reporting that Floyd was removed from a squad car because he was acting up under the influence of drugs and also later was discovered to have COVID 19. Which suggests his physical condition may have led to his death which the media turned into a murder change and a charge of serious abuse by police because of police efforts that were tried to get him who under control. Floyd at 11 nanograms of fentanyl in his system. Approximately 9 nanograms is the mean amount found in overdose victims.
Floyd also had methamphetamines in his system.
It was also found that he had “severe” heart disease, a heart which was enlarged by 48% (a symptom) and arteries that were 75-90% blocked. He also had sickle-cell anemia.
The autopsy stated that while Floyd had various bruises and contusions from his struggle with police, “no life-threatening injuries were identified.”
Does anyone know the length of time between when Floyd and his friend attempted to pass the counterfeit money, and the cops knocked on Floyd’s car window? Because it didn’t look like they were in a hurry to go anywhere. So, why were they just sitting there in the SUV? (And Floyd with claustrophobia?)
The two passengers claimed they were just there to get a ride? Who wants a ride with a driver that is high of drugs?
If he was dying, why did he need to be held down with a grown man’s knee compressing his throat against the ground?
