Senator Chuck Schumer now says schools must open in the fall.
This is after weeks of calling for schools to close.

He's only doing this because he discovered Trump has a plan to thwart the fraud in mail-in voting or because the Left has a plan for, shall we say, "unrest" or some event to occur in schools.
I'd like to think that it is because soccer moms are making it clear they want schools to open, but that does not comport with the sentiment of the soccer moms in my area.
The so-called soccer moms in my area are DESPERATE for schools to re-open.
Didn’t the Governor of New York also declare schools should re-open?
America wants schools to re-open, that’s my contention. For the Democrats to be perceived as the ones who kept schools closed will kill their chances, all...from Rep. to Senator to President, to win an election.
We need our lives back.
The Democrats, I argue but could be wrong who knows....but the Dems. see keeping schools closed as a loser.
And let’s not forget what happened in my home state of Merryland. They wanted to keep all schools closed, even private ones.
That didn’t last.
Schools need to re-open. The only people I know wanting schools kept closed are teachers.

I do think this is the moms and dads....you know...the folks that pay the ridiculous school taxes...certainly not the teachers....they don’t give a sh**.
I think they are starting to get nervous that as people explore alternates they may be inclined to stick with them.
Fauci is recommending kids go back to school and so is UNICEF, the WHO, the CDC, U.S. pediatricians and others.

All the Democrats, without exception, are saying we need to reopen the schools and then toss in the caveat that it needs to be done safely. “Safely” for them means following CDC guidelines, and “safely” for them will require tens of billions of dollars to be given to the school districts to make safety changes. So this comment by Schumer is nothing new. It’s just another plug for their spending plan held up in the Senate.

Schumer is doing this because he thinks Letitia James investigation into Deutch Bank and Trump will result in more anti-Trump news cycles.

Schools are daycare for the country’s kids so the parents can go to work. These same soccer moms and kids have very little chance of dying from Covid. Many people are still working and need this arrangement. Washington doesn’t see this because their nanny lives on the third floor.
I live in New York, and am waiting for Billy Jack to tell DeBlasio “I really didn’t want to have to do this to you, but you made me too mad”
within a week someone at each school will test positive, and they will just close them all again in terror and fear.

The NY Dems are all reading the same poll. Cuomo also came out for opening the schools. Probably they are being hammered by their voters who need the schools to watch their kids so they can work. As much as the NY Dems would like to hammer Trump for pushing reopening should one kid get sick in school, their voters have cornered the slimy Dems telling them they agree with Trump
