within a week someone at each school will test positive, and they will just close them all again in terror and fear.
I ran into someone from work (we’ve been working from home since March) yesterday.
She said she elected for the online schooling option in her district for this coming school year
I said that’s a good idea because no sooner will the kids et settled into attending school and be happy and comfortable going and seeing their friends than something will happen and they will close schools again.
But no, that’s not the reason she’s keeping them home. She’s so, so afraid of the virus can’t trust her kids (both under 9) to wash their hands and not get close to their friends.
She’s not the only person around my area who feels this way.
I feel so sorry for these kids.
