Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg revealed Friday that her liver cancer has returned.
The 87-year-old revealed in a statement on Friday that she began a course of chemotherapy to treat a recurrence of cancer on May 19.

Once upon a time, justices retired when they got old, so others could serve. Now they often hang on like kings and queens until the bitter end.
I think that’s what she’s trying to tell us. I’m inclined to say less than a week.
Good! It was a lousy plan anyway.
I pray that God will soften her heart, help her realize her sins and seek repentance, so that she, may be saved.
God desires that all be saved.
Or is this being teed up to maximize Dem turnout in November?

Yes pray for her. As Christians we ask God for His healing grace even for those we have serious differences with.
I thought she had pancreatic cancer (long term outlook: not good), yet she had beaten the odds.
I must have remembered it wrong, now that this said ‘liver cancer returned’. Psst, did she drink (alcohol) a lot?
I hope and pray, before she goes, that God shows her the evil of her ways and that she repents of it.
That is not good.
Chemo, after she has already gone through chemo for PC, is good for about an additional 3 months. Since the court does not go back into session until a few weeks before the election she is in a race against the calendar.
She is a tough old broad. I hate her politics. She has fought the good fight though...I wish her the best in the process. The end for this brand of cancer is not something I would wish on anyone.
Well, she's got to fit that in between her scheduled hanging of drywall and wrestling gators.

Reality intercedes once again in the grand ol’ year 2020. This is 100% certain to add another bomb prior to the election. Mitch has vowed to fill a vacancy damn straight and he’ll try, imho, since the judiciary is his baby.
Pushing a confirmation 6 months out will, however, create a freaking firestorm. Is McConnel up to it ?
Given all the COVID, BLM, police defunding troubles which the Ds support and foment, I can not imagine how Ds could win the White House, which would take pressure off of McConnell. Nothing is certain however, and another liberal judge on the court would be devastating to the future of the country.
He’s got to go for it, should RGB not survive this one, which I suspect she will not.
The most recent session is over. The next doesn’t begin until October. The summer workload is not that heavy.
If the cancer doesn’t get her (I think this will) then I expect her to bail either right after Labor Day or the week after the election.
If McConnell and Trump both get beat, that would be one hell of a lame duck session!
Very sad, but why is it that only staunch leftists NEVER retire to take care of their own health and family?

My brother is a cancer researcher and said the same thing. More aggressive and "angrier" than the first time.
Imhonestly dont think she has nearly tgat much time left, given this forced admission.
