Rowdy New York protesters came out in force at Mayor de Blasio's Gracie Mansion residence late Monday night to express their frustration with sleepless nights throughout the city due to general lawlessness and an epidemic of illegal fireworks displays designed to sew discontent.

“The reason why we came out here is for the simple reason that at 12 o'clock at night, our families can not sleep, our children are scared, our families are scared, and this is not the New York that we love!” a resident shouted through a megaphone. "Our message to the person that's occupying Gracie Mansion is simple. If he does not know how to bring safety and order to the city, then let him go home!” he added.

The protesters vowed to return every night until law and order is restored in New York City.

“WHere is Madame DuFarge when you need her?”

She’s away this week, visiting with her close knit family.

I wonder how the press will spin this.

No doubt they will have purls of wisdom for us all.

Of course, it will all be a marxist yarn.

This subject is tailor-made for puns.

Am I on the right thread? :-)

DeBlasio is already permanently woke. That’s why NYC is a mess. He doesn’t need a bunch of car horns to keep him woke and incompetent.

The mayor will get the police to disperse these illegal agitators right away.

Pompous liberal a-holes. Maybe while you’re staying up all night you can ponder the consequences of your political choices?

Sauce for the goose. Now let’s see how he responds. I’m betting there will be a double standard involved, to say the least.

Yeah, well, you pretty much tossed the New York that you love into the toilet when you elected on openly socialist egomaniac to run it.

This will soon be everyone in the city, regardless of political affiliation. They’re all tired of de Blasio’s awful rule of the New York City.

I would bet big money that most or all of the people at this protest voted in neither of the elections that DeBlasio won. Only about 20 percent of eligible NYers voted at all.

Next time they need to steal a big truck, bust down the gate, storm the place, and take care of things once and for all. End the freakshow.

"to sew discontent."

Somebody must have pointed out the spelling error as they've changed it to "sow discontent" at the link.
