President Trump is hosting a rally this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at an indoor arena with space for more than 19,000 people. Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter protests continue outdoors in cities around the globe. Both rallies and protests involve large crowds, standing close together, which means people could presumably catch the coronavirus at either type of event. But scientific evidence suggests that gathering indoors, without masks, as Trump's campaign plans to do this weekend, is a much more dangerous place for the coronavirus to spread than outside at a protest.

The DNC is terrified of his rallies. All their hard work going down the tubes.
Even if no one comes to the rally with COVID-19 or as a carrier, and if no one leave the rally with COVID-19 or as a carrier, the numbers are still going to be made higher. No matter what, the rally will be blamed without any absolute proof.
BLM/ANTIFA - millions of “protesters”, rioters, looters, arnachists in tightly packed crowds across the country. No checking for temperature or anything else.
Trump rally - only 20,000 patriotic Americans in one great well ventilated hall. And everyone is checked for temperature etc before they go in.
The Trump rally is much safer. And has a much smaller chance of infecting anybody. Far fewer people. Far more controlled environment.

Um, everyone will be given masks before they enter. That was announced by the Trump campaign last week. Plus temp checks too. Not that masks are any use anyways. When is Businessinsider going to stop lying?

Would LOVE for that to be the case, but I'd bet a fair amount of $$ that we'll see less than 5% (probably less than 1%) of Tulsa rally attendees wearing masks. And all the coverage I've seen on the news of the protests, probably 80+% are wearing masks.
Face it, gang..our side has done a pretty bad job on the whole masks issue. Many of us have been in serious denial on it. Yet, every country that embraces masks (eg: Hong Kong, which has a higher density of people than NYC) have the virus mostly under control by wearing masks everywhere. Why we have to politicize this is beyond me..masks reduce spread by reducing the amount of virus a sick person emits. They can, made properly, also provide some (up to 80% or higher) protection to the wearer. But as the expression goes.."my mask protects you - your mask protects me". Asian and Nordic countries by and large "get" this, and those countries have a fraction of the sick and dead people we have. Why can't we "get" this simple fact also? If we could do this one simple thing, we could make a serious dent in getting this all under control and getting our economy and our country back all the more quickly..

No different from the thousands that gathered for protests and riots with no masks!! I'm sure their totals far exceed the President's Rally. So bearing down on the President is just another "Dem Talking Point".

The masks are no use. Totally ineffective. And could be dangerous.

No matter what can be proven,suggested, or unproven...if there is a case of the virus coming out of this it will be blamed on the rally, not the protestors.
They are wrong.
This is a hit job on the Trump rallies driven by fear the rallies will sweep Trump to victory in November. Which is what will happen.
