Joe Biden’s staffers have to be dreading the day the full campaign gets back into swing. Keeping the former vice president in the basement has perhaps done more for his chances in 2020 than any other single factor.
Case in point? This is what happens when he leaves the confines of his home and tries to talk to people in public.

Biden forgetting things and being unable to complete a sentence has become all too common. It’s not normal and it’s not the result of a childhood stutter as he and his defenders like to claim. Also, who told him hanging a mask off his ear is a thing to do here? Just take the mask off instead of looking ridiculous.
But things got much worse as Biden continued speaking. At one point, he made an absolutely insane comment regarding Martin Luther King.

MLK’s impact was leading the charge to end Jim Crow and taking the biggest step toward limiting racism since the abolition of slavery. George Floyd’s death is tragic, but it’s hardly been a major moment of change in regards to actual policy. To even make that comparison is absolutely ludicrous and insulting to MLK’s legacy.
But this is what happens when you feel the need to constantly up your woke cred. Biden knows he has a huge issue hanging around his neck in regards to the 1994 crime bill. No matter how much he tries to run from it, he can’t hide that he used to brag about writing the bill. While there are parts of the bill that were arguably good (and crime did drop), there are other parts of it that now enjoy widespread disapproval, especially in the black community. Biden has to deal with that and he’s doing an awful job of it. As I wrote this morning, he had a meltdown when questioned on it during a NAACP round table.
This is a guy who can’t control his emotions and can’t keep a coherent thought when off The teleprompter. It’s a bad situation for Democrats, who basically have to hope coronavirus prevents the campaign from resuming.

Most of the under 40 crowd will agree with him that this has had more of an impact. Someone they don’t know or remember or someone who has just died. Red state is wrong on this. We need to stop making ourselves feel better with platitudes and start fighting back for real.

and yes it is because we are afraid. We have things to lose we have homes we have families we have careers. They don’t. But at what point do we need to sacrifice those things possibly to win back the country?
They will have a really tough time trying to cover gaffes during any debate, which will be viewed by millions. Their only hope would be for low debate views.
My suggestion to Biden’s campaign is that they procure one of those Captain Pike life support units from the Star Trek “Menagerie” episodes and henceforth limit Joe’s public comments to one beep for “yes” and two beeps for “no”.
Senile Joe will probably mess that up also, at least Captain Pike’s mind was still intact.
Indeed. He appeals to the low info voter. They are barbarians for whom the depth and time of MLK are unreachable and indigestible. The only thing working for them is this crass crap.
Biden has dementia but his unconsciousness is now taking over without filter, quite monstrously and yet without effect to some of the crazies out there.
This is too much food for fodder for the President . . .IMHO they are going to replace Biden before the debates. Maybe he shouldn’t trust even his secret service detail.
Maybe he will be talked out of debating, and claim its due to COVID.
During the campaign it’ll be interesting how the MSM will cover all of Biden’s gaffs; how they’d twist things around to make him sound presidential, intelligent and whatever.
Please, please tell me one more time about those polls that show Plugs leading President Trump by 15%.

The debates between Biden and Trump will be a hoot. I kind of feel sorry for Biden because we all get there if we live long enough but I don’t feel any sympathy for his handlers.
