The father is a retired cop....the narrative is Jogger shot....not burglar shot.

I’m sorry, but holding a revolver in your hand while riding in the bed of a pickup truck chasing down a man is not “open carry,” and we shall see what the Georgia court system has to say about the matter.

As a rabid pro-Second Amendment supporter that backed George Zimmerman from the start, including contributing to his defense fund, i hope the McMichaels are found guilty of at minimum criminal negligent homicide.

I am not sympathetic to the would be possible crook but no one should put themselves in the position these guys did. One, they are not cops. Two, they had no legal authority to operate as potential security guards. Three, no reason to go running about the neighborhood with a long gun in a residential neighborhood playing vigilante That is how I see it.

As far as how this may play out in court, without this becoming a political football, perhaps manslaughter at most. With the media and political oversight, it will be charged as murder 2 and probably convicted. This is not a Trayvon situation beyond a black white issue.

Self Defense yes

Using your gun as a license to chase down “criminals” to harass them and play cop, no

The trial will be interesting, we learned a lot in Trayvon Martin, mostly the fact that his girlfriend was egging him on to leave his house and go find the creepy ass cracker, that put Trayvon in the offensive mode against Zimmerman. That sealed it for me, I figured Zimmerman was innocent but when I heard Trayvon made it home safely from the “creepy ass cracker” and he was convinced to go out and find him and give him a beat down, which he did.

we got all the trash out fairly soon after the first ( bad) crew finished, so we’ll never know, Thank God.
What nasty, nasty people. There was a huge trash dumpster in our driveway, and they decide to seal the trash into the wall.
Makes u want to pull up a lawn chair and watch every step of a home renovation.

I don’t believe that

The 3 perps are not cops, one was retired and should have known better that chasing down a man with your trucks and guns at hand for trespassing wasn’t a good idea.

You walked up on someone else’s property and into their HOME just to look around?

Do you do that to people who are renovating their homes also after a flood or something?

Tell me. Had the homeowner been there and pulled a gun on him for being on his property and he attacked the homeowner, would you still be defending him?

My door is unlocked right now. Doesn’t give you the right to walk in uninvited. Matter of fact you might just get shot if you do.

It is a petty theft when it is somebody else’s property but grand larceny when it’s yours.

That’s the same mentality that says I can call your job non-essential because it’s not essential to me. The fact that it is essential to you is not my problem.

Shots were fired because an idiot attacked a guy with a gun and tried to take it.

Could just be professional curiosity or looking for work and didn’t really think anything about it, I worked a lot of construction at that age. He didn’t deserve to die for it.
