Crazed Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer prohibited big box retailers from in-person sale of seeds because according to her, food is non-essential.
‘Crisis gardens’ or ‘victory gardens’ were always encouraged during a time of war or a time of crisis to supplement rations and boost morale.
But the tyrannical governor of Michigan barred grocery stores and brick-and-mortar retailers from selling vegetable seeds.
In late March Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer limited access of doctors from prescribing the lifesaving drugs hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks to save senior citizens in the state from Coronavirus.
Hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks have are widely used by doctors the world over to treat the Coronavirus.
In total this past week alone, Governor Whitmer has banned packaged seeds, tiling, carpet, flooring… And US flags.

You may go to care for someone, like an elderly parent but just to visit is verboten. And they are tracking you by your smart phones.

No. This whole thing was in response to the whine from stores that have been deemed “non-essential”. They super stores, that have groceries (”essential”) and other stuff (”non-essential”) are allowed to be open because they have “essential” but they’re also selling “non-essential”. So she’s banned the sale of “non-essential”. Not the only one to do so in these odd times. The only thing it has to do with flags is they’re on the “non-essential” list. Along with TVs and toys and all kinds of other stuff. Then some whiny internet sillies get a hold of it, obsess on the flag part, and lie and say flags have been banned. But they weren’t. At least not anymore than TVs and toys and all kinds of other stuff.
This whole thing happened once the protest in Lansing was being organized.
Suddenly you could not buy things like art supplies to make signs and flags to fly and you could not travel.
You may be a trusting soul.
I am not.
No. It’s got NOTHING to do with flags.
Not trusting. Bothering to actually read what’s gone on. ALL “non-essential” items are blocked from sale. ALL. Not flags. ALL “non-essential”. Blame the whiny companies that got pissy cause Target super stores are still open.
Seeds are essential.
Tiling, carpet, flooring and flags are not essential. Everyone should already have a couple flags or they weren’t essential to begin with to those who don’t. You’re at home with nothing to do, then make a flag.
WHY ARE THE PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN AND VERGINIA SITTING ON THIER HANDS WITH THESE TYRANTS
So let government pick what you can purchase?
What about the businesses that sell the flags? How are they suppose to survive?
The Michigan Governor is hurting the entire economy by doing this.
What a foolish thing for you to defend this tyrant.
I think he can write superceding EO’s of regulations as long as he doesn’t try to over-ride the laws the regulations were written to initiate. If a law says we shall do “x”, regulations that get us to “x” are written. If some of those regs have pernicious side effects in getting to “x” then the president can act to curb those regs.
Didn’t say that. Actually contradicted it. I said the banning of “non-essential” sales is stupid and tyrannical. But we shouldn’t make our arguments with lies. It is a LIE that she banned the sales of flags. She banned the sale of anything on the “non-essential” list. Which includes a lot of stuff.
Obviously we did too in TN. He is no better. Just extended the shutdown to May 1st.
We’ve had only 5000 cases and 100 deaths, if you believe the numbers which I don’t, out of a 6.8 milli9n population.

So you CAN buy flags at Walmart.
You can’t buy anything on the “non-essential” list. Which includes probably 75% of Walmart.
