I’ve been to my local er this afternoon. Empty except for the usual gunshot victims. Stop spreading fear.
I’m really glad that my business is still going and that I can do most of what I do from home and via webinars. Unfortunately, I had to let one employee go (temporarily I hope) and one has self isolated with her 93 year old father. It’s all me right now so I’m too busy to get depressed. My wife, on the other hand, is ready to kill me...too much of a good thing I guess. LOL
But see, the media says .....

No. If we keep people all cooped up in their homes with orders from the police to arrest them if they come out, if we cause a potential tens of millions to lose their jobs and fall into deep depression, and suicide rates, deaths from hypertension and stress and all kinds of deaths sharply increase, you think that's better than dying from coronavirus?
Yeah right.. The worlds hospitals, doctors and people dying in ICU’s are all in on the hoax, as you call it. /s

Far more people have died from drug overdoses than decreased activity in services/cruises/vices.

The wife has thousands of resident in her facilities and more have died from other causes than this dramabug. I think she’s had two die so far. That’s it.
I watched a documentary about a triple disaster in one spot in Japan.
1. Earthquake
2. Tsunami
3. Nuclear power plant explosion
A lady who lived through it said that 1600 deaths were caused by fear and making people move.
Desperation and despair is the Dems bread and butter.
If we don’t try to control the virus, people will die unnecessarily from many other causes because hospitals will not be able to give them adequate care.

Consider yourself and your community fortunate. My daughter is an ER Nurse at Ascension St. Francis in Milwaukee. Her story is quite different.
They are intubating so many people they are running low on supplies. Respirators are routinely doubled up with patients.

Nope. I would say to naive people, though, that all of nyc is on the edge of a dangerous inner city. I no longer live there as my home page has reflected for a year and a half. I love where I am now but the inner city is still lurking.
