What happened to Matt Drudge? Top Conservative Publisher turns on Trump!

For the past week The Drudge Report has posted screaming headlines pushing President Trump’s impeachment! At the same time Drudge has ignored President Trump’s 50% Rasmussen approval rating — 5 points higher than Barack Obama at the same time in his presidency.
He lost me after 20 some-odd years. I finally won’t give him the clicks anymore. Sad. Used to be a fun site.
Same. He was my first website of the day. No more.
I think part of what is going on with Drudge is he trying to tap into the enthusiasm of the out of power party. I noticed comments at yahoo switched almost over night when Trump won. From mostly Republican slanted during the obama years to mostly Democrats moaning about Trump. Supporters of the party out of power tends to vent more on the internet would be my guess.
Drudge has been DAVID BROCKED!!
I wonder how much Twitter is impacting his business model. Not sure Drudge is must-see for news/politics like it used to be. Now it’s Twitter — for political news, gossip, celeb deaths, etc.
Same here - removed the Drudge link from my “News” set of links a long time ago.

I don’t think young people are into twitter much anymore. Especially for politics. It’s only the hardcore political hobbyists over there. But that middle age Demo is definitely what Drudge is aiming for. I suppose most anybody under 35 or so has no clue who he is. He hasn’t been relevant for a long time. Druge will learn like Megyn Kelly did that there is nothing he can do to satisfy Democrats. They will always hate him.
Truckers have a colorful vocabulary— I never heard of it either.
Drudge is not Drudge. It was sold to google who is trying to kill it. Help them by not clicking Drudge. These imbeciles believe they can put the genie back in the bottle by killing Drudge. Lil mattie is sun bathing in the buff somewhere where he and his companions can frolic together for ever.
Quite drudge around a month ago haven’t been back since.
Not even bookmarked on my Browser. Haven’t read so much as the headline in months.
However, recently I find myself avoiding the Drudge Report more and more. Freepers here have explained why.
I don’t think losing Drudge is a political catastrophe for Conservatives. That’s us what is so great about America. We have choices. Drudge and Fox ”change”...then Conservatives can freely change to Citizens Free Press/Liberty Daily and One America News. The change isn’t a problem for Conservatives, it is a problem for Drudge and Fox.

I wasn’t a daily visitor, but I took out my bookmark. I didn’t want to go there out of boredom. The entire site has sucked for a long time.
He has to change the name to the sludge report.
Or the Packing Fudge Report. Drudge is letting his orientation affect his thinking. Even when it’s clear that Trump is very accepting of the gay movement. Not a negative word about the BootyJig candidates private life.
Somewhere on a post here on FR, I read that the account manager for Drudge is now the wife of Google’s CTO.
Maybe not just letting his orientation affect his thinking could be exposed for something or he was offered something from the democrats,what ever it is it’s not good.
He had a good thing going and blew it no pun intended.
