Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) These impeachment polls are very mysterious and confusing. Until you look at the details, that is. – The increasingly-trending-left Fox News came out with a “bombshell” new poll on impeachment Wednesday which Bret Baier solemnly told us shows that 51% of those polled favor both impeachment and removal from office. Baier further said that is an increase of 9% over an earlier poll taken before any of this nonsense about Ukraine broke. Which basically means that every leftist nitwit in the country has always wanted him impeached and removed, which should surprise no one.
This seems pretty strange since the President’s public approval rating in this poll and basically every other poll is essentially the same as it was in August. So, I decided to go take a look into the bowels of the results and guess what I discovered? Fully 48% of this poll’s sample identify as Democrats. This despite the fact that recent polling by Gallup and other organizations show that less than 30% of the U.S. population now self-identifies that way. 40% were Republicans, despite recent polling by Gallup and others showing that less than 30 of the actual population self-identifies that way. That leaves just 12% of this sample taken from the vast middle of the country that identifies with neither party.
This poll is trash. Garbage. A fake poll taken simply to create a fake news story for Bret Baier to parrot. Fox News is almost all the way achieving its goal of becoming CNN.
Ok, so, let’s go on to the poll from The Wall Street Journal/NBC released on Tuesday. This poll claims to find that 43% of the public favor “supporting [Trump’s] removal based on what they know today,” according to the linked NBC article. Yet, when you go take a look at the details of the findings, here is what you actually discover: When asked whether there is “enough evidence to impeach Donald Trump and remove him from office now,” just 24% in the poll’s sample say “yes.”
TWENTY-FOUR PERCENT.
Another 31% are in favor of holding “an impeachment inquiry to determine of there is enough evidence” to remove the President from office, because Americans just love their investigations. Fine.
But look at how absurdly NBC has misrepresented this poll’s actual findings to the public, simply to create a “news” story that might attract viewers and clicks to its website. It’s a disgrace.
One big difference in this poll as compared to the Fox poll is that it has a more reasonable partisan breakdown of 30% Democrat and 25% Republican, with the rest of the sample basically independents.
These are just two of the most recent of dozens of polls taken on the impeachment and removal questions, and when you look closely at the entire group of them, what you find is that this Democrat/Media coordinated anti-Trump frenzy over the innocuous Ukraine phone call as moved public opinion towards removal from office by maybe 2 or 3 percentage points.
Meanwhile, the President’s public approval rating as measured by the RealClearPolitics average of polls sits at 43.6% approval, slightly above his average for all of 2019.
This is not remotely what the Democrats and their media toadies were hoping to achieve here. Not at all.
They’re gonna need a bigger hoax.

The minute polls started getting reported as “news”... polling became garbage.
Its created to push a narrative, nothing more.
A poll that is 10% Rat “rich” shows an increase of support for Impeachment by 10%. Imagine my shock.
Blame Paul Ryan. He said he would join the board at Fox to do something about Trump.

So many people are repeating that Fox News is owned by Disney. If you did your own research you would find that it’s not true.

That would be Faux News. That changed some time ago.
This is what I think the Dems’ plan is.
1 – The Democrats know the current impeachment trick isn’t going to work. It is a vehicle to drum up fake polls showing Americans souring on Trump.
2 – Remember “VOTE HARVESTING”? I think 2016 was a trial run and it worked like a charm. Did Republicans legally challenge any vote harvesting? I don’t recall that they did. (Thanks, Ronna McDaniel, niece of Mitt Romney)
3- Next up, 2020. The Dems will have their VOTE HARVESTING machine out everywhere, not to win the presidency, but to steal the Senate. I almost think they want Trump to win so they can hand him the disgrace of impeachment and removal from office. That should warn anyone from outside the swamp to run for president ever again.
And who will question that the Dems won the Senate, after all, all the polls showed that Trump was crashing in the polls over impeachment.??
4 – Once they steal (vote harvest) the Senate, impeachment will slide right through.
5 – They’re already implying that Pence is “dirty” too, so he’ll be easy to impeach too. They’ll steal the Senate and vote harvest to keep the house. Geez, why not, the Republicans hardly whimpered at such obvious voter fraud in 2016.
6- Then the Dem. speaker of the house will be President. And you know what’s next? Kavanaugh. They’ll impeach Kavanaugh. Maybe even Gorsuch. They’ll remove all of Trump’s appointments, because, now they can.
I hope Ronna McDaniel, niece of Mitt Romney, has our own vote harvesting plan up and running by November 2020. Because, we probably won’t win without it.
The only thing that might upset this plan is Barr and Durham, and they’d better step it up quickly.
This is about the Supreme Court (I suspect Ruthie is sicker than we know) and sending a message that no presidential candidate will ever dare to take on the swamp – ever again.
Speaking of SCOTUS, is Clarence Thomas back ? Does anyone know what’s wrong with him that is so serious that he had to miss the opening of court this week? If it’s serious, that’s another reason the Dems are striking. When Nancy is President, she’ll get 3 Supreme Court appointments. How cool would that be ?
How many people saw and heard Schiff read his poison at the beginning of the hearing and took it at face value?
Disgraceful and worthy of slander lawsuit at the very least.

You didn’t do your research. Fox News etc is not a part of Disney. 20th Century Fox etc did merge with Disney but NOT the Fox News division.

But, I think they are doing what they can do...
Trust me, these guys may “work hard” putting these things together...but the people “doing” the survey are not. I used to manage survey callers. Not the most enthusiastic workers I ever witnessed.

I have been drifting away from Fox News for the past couple of years. There are days on end when I never tune in.
I watch Lou Dobbs instead of Baer and his slanted reporting.....
Cant stand Arthel either.
Panels minus Mollie Hemingway are worthless as they are so slanted , and when she counters Baer steps in to change the topic.
Hannity is just too amped up..
FACT: Fox News polling ROUTINELY and CONSISTENTLY overstated Clinton support in 2016.
I have repeated over and over again that unless viewers can receive a conservative-oriented channel in their regular paid cable packages like they do Fox, CNN, PMSNBC, etal...with no separate charge, no having to view it on their computers, no separate contracts and billing, no having to go into another room....they're not going to use OAN. OAN will never expand much over what it is now....plus most people don't care to fiddle around to subscribe to something they know little to nothing about.
An easily accessible new cable channel is only going to happen if some really rich conservative billionaire investors get together and buy an existing channel. Then folks like you and I can punch an existing channel number on our TVs after dinner, and lay back on the sofa and enjoy a channel that's not increasingly tainted with pernicious leftism....as Fox now is.
Obscurities like OAN will not cut it. I don't subscribe....I can get the info I need by going to Fox ( I'm capable of sorting out their new direction ! ) and FR....and I'd rather save the money to donate to conservative causes.
I wish some true and sincere multi-millionaire business people and media celebrities who have benefited (legitimately) from the conservative movement would think ( in the IMMEDIATE future !) about investing in such a network.....Rush, Hannity come to mind off-hand.
I, too, have been drifting away from Fox. But we have to have a new conservative-owned channel that, with one click, we can bring it up on our evening line-up, just like we can get CNN, Fox, etc. If our standard cable package price goes up a tad, no problem. It's worth it.
