No One Should Be Surprised at How the Mueller Witch Hunt Played Out
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

A “special counsel” fake investigation that played out exactly by the book. – Looking back on the two years during which our nation was held hostage to the evil Robert Mueller (“evil” is the only word I can think of to accurately describe him after yesterday) Witch Hunt, the most striking aspect of it all is how few actual surprises the process produced when you review how it all played out.

Millions of Americans – myself included – were angry yesterday when Mueller outrageously turned the entire notion of American justice on its head by basically stating that the President of the United States of America was undeserving of due process, undeserving of the presumption of innocence that is the bedrock of our individual liberties. Two things about this that I would ask you to consider:

- Mueller truly believed exactly what he said; and

- Anyone else appointed to serve in that job would have truly believed the same.

In truth, Robert Mueller functioned in his appointed job exactly as every previous special prosecutor/special counsel we have seen over the last two decades has functioned in that job. This was all very predictable, because the statute that governs this process is set up to create exactly the kind of wide-ranging Witch Hunt we have witnessed since May 17, 2017, the date of Mueller’s appointment by the also-evil Rod Rosenstein.

How predictable was it? Just for grins, I dug up the Campaign Update from May 18, 2017, written about 14 hours after Mueller’s appointment. In that piece, I predicted exactly how this process would play out, including labeling it as an inevitably Witch Hunt, a term that President Trump would not begin to use until several months later.

I didn’t get everything right – I was very much wrong in conceding the media’s portrayal of Mueller at that time as some sort of wonderful public servant and fine human being, both of which were 180 degrees wrong – but where the process that would play out was concerned, the piece has held up eerily well. You can read it all at the link provided above, but here are some key passages:

Every time one of these atrocities of federal law has been established, the fake news media immediately trots out testimonials about the man’s … impeccable credentials and character. He will then make a statement – which will surely come today – about how he is going to be laser-focused on the supposed topic of his investigation, and he will make damn sure the investigation is conducted efficiently and won’t turn into some sort of witch hunt that ends in some sort of kangaroo court that throws people like Scooter Libby in prison for a made-up crime just so the special counsel can claim a scalp.

…the special counsels of the past have then embarked on a long, unlimited witch hunt that has always ended up in a kangaroo court climax accusing and prosecuting individuals for “crimes”, real or imagined, that were usually not remotely the subject of the investigation to begin with.

…Mr. Mueller’s investigation will inevitably be taken in this traditional direction and end in this traditional outcome, because he is little more than a figurehead, the “upright man”, the public face of a process that will soon be staffed and run by a group of young, ambitious lawyers who will make it their goal to collect as many scalps as they can in order to make names for themselves, so that they too can become fabulously wealthy, career-long creatures of the DC swamp.

And if you think the Trump Administration leaks like that 35 year-old sieve you got as a wedding gift in 1981, just wait until you see the magnitude of leaks that will soon begin flowing from Mr. Mueller’s staff. Again, it’s the Democrats’ wet dream, not to mention the WaPo and the fake NYTimes.

…every one of the special counsel investigations of the past have followed the exact same pattern of promised quick efficiency and laser-like focus on a narrow investigation, to inexorable and dramatic expansion, to outright years-long witch hunt, to a kangaroo court conclusion. Why? Because that’s how this process was designed to work by the creatures of the DC establishment who wrote the governing statute. It would be better named the DC Swamp Preservation Act.

So get ready for a witch hunt followed several years from now by a kangaroo court that sends people to prison for “crimes” completely unrelated to the ostensible subject of Mr. Mueller’s investigation.

Am I prescient? Endowed with ESP? A modern-day Nostradamus? No, I’m just experienced, possess a sense of perspective that age tends to bring with it, and have payed attention to how every special prosecutor/special counsel investigation since the 1980s has played itself out. The cast of characters changes with each new Witch Hunt, but the process is invariably the same.

So yes, be angry at Robert Mueller and his band of merry witch-hunters who will all go off to high-paying jobs at powerful law firms in DC and New York City, and recognize them all for the evil the represent. Because they are the faces of true evil in our society today.

But if you want get to the source of that evil, you have to also be angry at congress. Because the other thing to recognize about Mueller and his evil minions is that they conducted themselves and their Witch Hunt exactly as we all should have expected them to, because that is exactly the process mandated by the governing statute.

This statute does not set up a “legal” process at all; they set up an extra-Constitutional political tool that was agreed to by members of both parties, and that neither party has any apparent desire to repeal. The law is an atrocity on our society, one which serves to erode the personal liberties of all Americans. Mueller simply used this political tool in the way congress intended it to be used.

Damn them all to hell.

That is all.

The democRATS are just like their relatives; rats trapped in a corner. The heat is on from the current investigation of illegal tactics and corruption of the feds against Trump. So Mueller comes out and throws some red meat out so the rats can threaten/or carry out impeachment.

The source of evil is the Democrat party.

What is the governing statute?

I don't think there is one. Everything I've seen about the "Office of the Special Counsel" comes from regulations that are internal to the U.S. Department of Justice, not any Federal statute passed by Congress.

I did even better than the author of this piece.

Nearly two years ago I predicted that the whole charade had nothing to do with "Russian collusion" and was nothing more than a fabricated investigation whose sole purpose was to have President Trump fire Mueller so Congress could impeach him for "obstruction of justice."

Against the ridiculous wishes of many conservatives (including a lot of Freepers), Trump never took the bait.

The whole thing ended in a whimper.

Mueller's stupid public statement yesterday was the inevitable result of what happened when President Trump didn't take the bait.

"My investigation was a complete farce, but I can't say for sure that the President didn't obstruct justice. Now I have to just go away and f#%& myself."

Like the author, I knew Mueller was no damned good from the start. The hiring of an almost exclusively hard Democrat staff attorneys, including Hillary contributors and one who worked for her phony foundation. The early morning raids, Gestapo tactics, indictments over “crimes” that constituted something close to nothing if that, seeking huge sentences for crimes by Manafort that are alleged of others but were mysteriously not investigated, the constant leaks to the biased press. Mueller was a no good, worthless bum who has ensured that the real problems of this country will be ignored by an out of control Congress seeking revenge for having lost a presidential election.

Mueller dispelled any doubt whatsoever yesterday that he is a white or even a gray hat. He is a DS operative rat from the swamp. He is a double dealing, backstabbing DS operative. These bastards, including Rosenstein, Wray, and likely Haspel are inbred bureaucratic hacks who are constantly working two sides against the middle. They will slip and slid, tell you anything you want to know to ingratiate themselves on you, all the while stabbing you in the back to protect their beloved DS.

Trump is the last president. Mueller made sure of that yesterday.

“Mueller is unhealthy and probably senile.”

Notice his perfectly groomed hair? Think that’s irrelevant? There are problems ahead for him. The best outcome for him is that his ego, like his hair, will get rumpled.

I saw this headline on MSN this morning on my Bing homepage:

He supposedly "admitted" this in the following tweet:

Earlier Thursday, Trump tweeted that he had "nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected." But he walked back that statement while speaking to reporters, saying "Russia did not help me get elected."
"I helped me get elected," Trump said. "Russia had nothing to do with it at all.”

Yesterday showed how completely Trump played Mueller and the rest of the deep state!

Everyone who complained about Sessions not doing anything needs to understand that was EXACTLY what Trump wanted. Trump DID NOT want Sessions to be a bulldog he wanted him to be a kitten. Why? Because then the deep state had hope that this would all blow over, and with that hope they were more cautious and held back in the Mueller investigation. Had Trump had a bulldog AG during the Mueller investigation Mueller would have 100% come out with bogus indictments against Trump. That would have been their only play. But by holding back and having a kitten AG it gave the deep state confidence that they were in charge of things and therefore they didn't need to risk bogus charges they would just wait Trump out.

Then after the Mueller report - BOOM!!! Declassification and the deep state now sees they have been flanked and are in deep sh!t! Now Mueller needs to backtrack and try to indict Trump after the fact. Now they realize they can't simply wait Trump out, impeachment is their only hope.

I've scoffed in the past at those who have said things like Trump is playing 3-d chess but the way that things have played out since 'declassification' looks to me as if Trump knew from the beginning how to play this game - and win.

In all of his pictures his hair is perfect. To me suggests a big ego that’s going to cause him much pain as he plummets from grace
