Just wandering through the dusty yard sale that is a middle aged man's mind.

Probably the fifth or sixth best song on that album.

Love “Airwaves” and “One of Our Submarines”

I'm a child of the 60's who firmly believe that that decade featured the best music of any decade.I believe that the 70s were a complete wasteland of good music but that the 80s has some really fun stuff out there...and some interesting music videos.

She Blinded Me With Science fits into both categories.

I would take the Big Hair over the half-shaved head look.

The 70s and early 80s were the golden age of progressive and jazz fusion, but the pop was pretty sucky (see: disco).

And man buns.

I guess each decade has their stupid hair gimmicks. But I’ll take mullets and big hair any day over man buns.

I remember it was around 1979, I had never listened to jazz before, and one day was flipping channels, and I saw a bunch of these long-haired guys who looked like a typical rock band playing Jazz,
it was The Pat Metheny Group, and I was mesmerized. Next day, I went straight to Peaches to gobble up all of his albums, and got hooked, still a huge fan to this day.

Am I the only person who has no idea what this thread is about.

Drawing a complete blank.

The closest thing I can come up with is Kyu Sakamoto and “Sukiyaki” from the 60s.

The 70s and early 80s were the golden age of progressive and jazz fusion...

Which are just noise to my ears...but to quote one of the many great songs of the 60s..."different strokes for different folks".
