The media will bury any disarray. If a Republican had said this, the reporters would have been running to every Republican for their thoughts, i.e. like Romney editorial.
If 2019 is mostly about some Russian collusion thing and fake charges, then it’s a pretty dismal primary season in early 2020. I will predict that the shutdown goes 60-plus days.
The level of emotive hate they have can’t be sustained without something breaking. Logic and reason will win.
Do not underestimate the ability of the establishment Republicans to screw it up.
Remember, the Republican Party (not the Republican voters) is nothing but incompetence and cowardice more interested in their cushy political office sinecures than what is best for the American people.

I hesitate to agree. For all her evil, Nancy Pelosi is, if nothing else, very adept at cracking the whip on her caucus when she needs to do so. When she says “frog,jump” they will reflexively say, “how high?” Never, ever sell her short.

No one knows if 2019 will see DOJ activity against traitors within the US government. Maybe there really will be military tribunals targeting big name Democrats.
Imagine the opportunities available to new, ambitious Democrats in the House if the Old Guard runs into legal trouble? The new folks will be completely clean and they might increase the infighting to push aside the older, more corrupt Democrats.

The real question is, when will the GOP wake up and become the party that they are supposed to be, i.e. the party of limited government and more freedom? Unless this happens, there is no way to change the trajectory of where this country is headed as there will be no one in D.C. and some states that will be fighting for these ideals. Trump is doing what he can to make some of this happen, but he is just one person and only temporary. I have been impressed with Trump, but overwhelmingly unimpressed with most of the rest of the GOP. The party is a mess right now thanks to the GOPe.
The first day for Speaker, Pelosi and her Democrat low life scum, was a total bust, 100%. The legislation the Democrats passed is meaningless, is going nowehere but deep into a Capital building trash can. The fouls mouths gutter ramblings of radical Democrat scum & vermin are not ringing well in the ears of a majority of American voters.
