I guess I'm here... I came to understand why and how you guys think the way you do. I'm extremely liberal and have a burning hatred for a good amount of the right, however I still want to contribute. I dislike being divided, I dislike any phobias that I know many of you have, and after reading some of the opinions on here I can honestly say that I see no good that can come from this website. The garbage spewed on here makes me want to puke. The clear disregard for political correctness and the way others may feel is so unimaginably disgusting to me that I doubt I can agree with anything being said here. I want to make clear that I'm not on this website to be absorbed into the alt-right echo-chamber that FreeRepublic is; I'm here to get a better understanding of how my fellow humans can be actively saying these things. I do not wish to cause any kind of drama, I just hope you guys can welcome my different viewpoints; If not I'll leave as soon as I came with the knowledge that this website is just a hate filled echo-chamber.
Responding as if you were for real and would even read this:
Nearly everyone around me (friends, family, acquaintances) is liberal or progressive. There are a very few of them who understand that the ultimate goals on the left are incompatible with freedom, and those few WANT THAT. They deeply believe that people need a class of elite holier-than-thou leaders who tell the rest how to live. (And they see themselves in that higher up elite class, of course)
Most of them, including my friends and extended family, are misguided by media and friends into thinking liberal = good. I used to be the same way. Liberal ideas SOUND really good. They don’t work because they don’t take into account human nature.
I LOVE my friends and family. I stay quiet about my politics around them. Only if asked would I get into a discussion.
I do not even hate the first group of people I mentioned, acquaintances who deeply believe and campaign for leftists, who don’t find anything in the USA progressive ENOUGH. I deeply, deeply disagree with them politically.
My entire political outlook is one of freedom for the individual. I’m not the only one on FR to feel that way. If you really study the two approaches, liberalism and conservatism, only one of them wants to preserve the kind of light government the founders of the USA envisioned and constructed. There isn’t any other government structure on this planet better than our constitution. Trying for self-government, allowing for the maximum freedom for the people. If there were, I’d be open to it.
Our parties, Dem and Rep, are both thoroughly corrupt, though, so none of us can go by that. Even Supreme Court justices are a shot in the dark these days.
The fact that others having a different political view from you fills you with hate illustrates perfectly how liberals are far less tolerant than others.

Karl Marx’s 19th century cult of leftism has had many brand names - communism, progressivism, socialism, naziism, fascism...and islam.
Leftism has always been the home totalitarian and racism (KKK, BLM, LaRaza, etc)
Leftism, under all of its’ totalitarian brand names, has a record of massive failure - economically, morally & culturally. ALWAYS.
In the 20th century, leftism was responsible for more than 250 MILLION deaths.
Leftism hates America and rejects the Constitution means exactly what it says.
Leftism rejects our sovereign borders and values ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS over American citizens.
For anyone to continue to believe in leftism is indicative of extraordinary intellectual stupidity, severe psychosis...or just pure evil.
BTW, “Political Correctness” is just fascism with a smile.

If you don’t have a thick skin, now would be a good time to start developing one!

Whatever the reason for posting this was, whomever the person is, this thread isn't headed by a well done piece at all. It's a shabbily done piece, and certainly didn't live up to what was expected, I bet.
