Melania visited the border again yesterday. Since they couldnt berate her for wearing graffiti art this time, Yahoo charged her with channeling Jackie making it sound as if it was some sort of stolen fashion valor.
Today, on another trip to the U.S. border, the first lady chose a much less controversial outfit, opting instead to channel Jackie Kennedy.
Her ensemble appeared to be inspired by what Jackie wore in Greece on the day before her wedding Aristotle Onassis. While some of the details are different-Jackie's sleeves were short, and her feet, bare-the aesthetic is strikingly similar.
HMPH. I had a lunch date yesterday and I also wore white slacks and a black top, without so much as a thought given to WWJD (What Would Jackie Do). Its a rather basic summer combo.
I dont recall this ever appearing to be an allegation of inauthenticity when Lady M tried it (not nearly often enough). And please remember, there are worse things than dressing classically.
Would anyone care to guess who (or what) Lady M was channeling when she donned this outfit last week to attend a glamorous lunch according to the The Daily Mail?
The former first lady looked perfectly chic for her business lunch as she dined at the Gjelina restaurant in Venice. Seriously, Daily Mail?

LOL
Is that the Oprah or the Mooch? She looks like a PIG!
Yeah, because that’s not a common look at all...

Malania was actually channeling me. I wore white cotton pants and a black top yesterday. My shoes were also black but sandals. How many other women in America were dressed similarly ? It’s really quite common!
I’m sure Melania has her few staffers constantly checking out old Jackie looks, or other people melania feels inspired to copy /s
Since some FRs all seem to be in the same zone and subconscioulsy all chose white pants and balck tops to wear, maybe Melania can find time to make it easy for the rest of us less intuitive types.
She can start a “color scheme of the day” so we can all be more empowered, united (joking - reminds me of Hillary with the white suit and purple suit etc that supposedly meant certain things to her followers. I sure hope they had meanings because otherwise she just looked ridiculous in them for no reason)
Melania always looks great!
>>Melania always looks great!<<
And it burns the left since they KNOW despite their est “chic” narrative that mike obozo is ugly TO THE BONE. Add to that her “mom jeans with boob belts” fashion sense and you have fugly^2.
They’ve always been in denial, but since Trump was elected they’ve taken it to a new level.
Yes. I’m sure Melania woke up yesterday morning and said to herself, “I think I’ll wear the same outfit Jackie wore that day in Greece.”
Melania Trump is her own woman and doesn’t channel anyone.
“How many other women in America were dressed similarly ? Its really quite common!”
#WWJD #MeToo
I would love to see Melania copy a few of Michelle’s most outrageous outfits that were praised just to read the media’s reaction
The First Lady wore a top and some slacks???? Has she no original ideas at all??
pure horse poop. Michelle is Jackie 2.0, but Melanie is a wanna be? Okay. I wonder if Mooch was conservative, would they describe her correctly? “why is Floyd Mayweather in a dress?”
Meanwhile, Trump's got a similar objective in taking down the deep state
Big MO’s ‘style = Classic ‘SLOB’
Translation: ‘Maybe, if I dress like a refugee or a college kid... no one will notice how old I am or how little I know about style.’
White pants with a black top is so rare. She must’ve copied from Jackie Kennedy.
Don’t forget that micheal wore the white shirt when they visited a 12th century cathedral in Sienna,Tuscany. In the Q & A section concerning visiting the cathedral, it clearly states “No bare shoulders”. That goes for all churches in Italy.
