The presumption of good faith is an important element in public discussions.
Casting accusations of disingenuousness at opponents does a great disservice to the process of sorting out the truth in the public area.
It is, therefore, prudent to accept the word of Republican conservatives and radio talk show hosts that they are opposing the candidacy of Judge Roy Moore because they believe Doug Jones, his Democratic opponent, would be a better Senator and serve the people of America to a higher degree.
This said I say to those who say they believe pro-abortion, pro-amnesty pro-Obamacare anti-tax cut Democrat Jones would be better than Moore; show yourself in public. I ask these people to stand up, come out in the open and take the next logical step.
I call on all of them to step aside from their covered positions and go to Alabama campaign with Doug Jones and prove their sincerity.
Lets see a big rally in Birmingham with Andrew McCarthy Ben Shapiro Mitch McConnell Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee Paul Ryan and the others on a stage with Doug Jones. Lets have Sean Hannity serve as master of ceremonies and Tim McGraws music provide that down home feelin.
Granting their sincere desire to do what is best for America, these guardians of truth justice and the American way ought to show their face out in the open to prove they believe in the value of their cause.
They ought to be courageous take a microphone and tell the nation they support Jones who no one disputes wants to murder unborn women and oppose Roy Moore who is facing accusations that are quickly falling apart and Alabamians dont believe.
All NeverTrumpers should attend and stand for a group picture with their arms locked while Doug Jones takes a knee.
They should then go back to their keyboards and brag about their connection to Jones to those who support them, read their column or buy their books.
After the show Sean Hannity should walk among the crowd shake hands and take pictures with Doug Jones.
Am I serious? Yes actually I am serious. It is time for these holier than thou conservatives to put up or shut. Unfortunately they will do neither.
How many sex allegations against Republicans has Gloria Allred been involved in? “Allred”? Did anyone have a more fitting name?
Dont forget Ivanka
Those who are fortunate enough to live in Alabama during this critical time should explain the truth of the globalist, open-borders Swamp war on Judge Moore and why its essential to get out the vote for him. LET ALABAMA PICK THEIR SENATOR, NOT WASHINGTON D.C. AND NOT THE NEW YORK MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
Yes, I was shouting!
Ping. Just wanted you to see who holds the power nowadays. Even other people recognize where the Power Block is in this nation. Now how do you suppose they got this power?
Michael Reagan said just that last night on Laura Ingraham, ie that he would rather see a pro-abortion democrat in the Senate than sex offender.
PROOF . .PROOF . . DAMMIT ARE WE UNDER MOB RULE?
Get enough people to lie and it becomes truth. Goebbels would be so proud of our esteemed talking heads today.
Judge Jeanine should fit right in. For years she’s been a big advocate for homosexuals. She’s even marched in their parades. She’s also pro-abortion. Like most NY politicians who call themselves conservative that only means on fiscal matters.
Hmmm.... no mention of the people of Alabama.
“Hannity should know, but doesnt. Thats pretty sad.”
Or Hannity, along with other Fox News anchors, has been pressured by Fox not to support Moore,
Michael must be trying to reach out to Ron and Patti! He has not been a faithful conservative for several years now.
That seems like a plausible scenario. I’d hate to think he’s that stupid.
Speaking of Moore, yesterday his lawyer demanded Allred hand over the yearbook to have someone verify it’s authenticity. Any word from Gloria yet? Nope!
At this point if a dozen women came out and accused Jones of something nefarious, I doubt one news story would air it.
Such is the stampede to lynch Judge Moore.
Fantastic! Put up or shut up, all of them.
Oh, yeah, that too. The nut case is saying that Trump should have reached out to McCain and apologized. How about the fact that McCain hand carried the Trump fake dossier to the FBI. Laura also pointed out that McCain has been acting like a democrat on just about every issue.
Where the heck is the leadership in the Senate to pull these people together. You’ve maybe 5 Senator right now ready to trash the tax bill.
“Conservatives who want Roy Moore to step aside should go to Alabama to campaign with Jones
This. If you want to throw the race to the baby murdering Democrat, you are an enemy. “
If you really believe that would actually help elect Jones I feel sorry for you.
Was it Greg Garrett on last night claiming that the accusations must be true because they were so detailed? What great logic. Has he ever heard of script writing?
I find this all really strange? We didn’t need Democrats because we had Republicans not willing to give Moore even the benefit of the doubt. Why? I’d almost say someone is giving orders and the jumping beans are complying.
I think you mistake me. My point was that those calling for Roy Moore to step down are handing the seat to the baby murdering Democrat just as if they went to Alabama and campaigned for the baby murdering Democrat.
Our side should stop just giving up every time the Democrats throw accusations at one of our guys.
Ping. Here's another example BroJoeK. Other people recognize that this is about Washington and New York's loss of control over Federal power.
Sure, I "get" what you're saying, but now pay attention.
Before 1992, when he was 45 years old, Roy Moore was a Democrat.
Get that?
Everything Moore is here accused of doing he did while he was a Democrat, and for Democrats none of that is a real problem.
It's only raised up now because as a Republican such behavior is unacceptable.
Had Moore remained a Democrat like, say, Southerner Bill Clinton, Democrats would be defending him with every trick in the book.
And that is a good analogy to years before 1861, when most Southerners were Democrat allies of the New York financial "power elites" and they all marched in lock-step to rule over Washington, DC, and to rule-out Republican influence.
Then in 1861, many Southerners flipped from allies to opponents of the New York "power elites" and shafted them, big time.
So the elites temporarily allied with Republicans to win the Civil War, then immediately flipped back again to Southern Democrats where they remained locked together politically until another Southern Democrat, Lyndon Johnson in the 1960s, split them apart, seemingly forever.
But Roy Moore remained a good Democrat for another 30 years (!) and as such, his behavior was perfectly acceptable, according to the Bill Clinton rules for personal relationships.
Only now that he is a Republican do the young women who found him sooooo exciting as a Democrat, feel betrayed and angry enough to destroy his political prospects.
Surely, even you can see that?
