The Second American Civil War is gradually coalescing into an observable phenomenon. The lines are being drawn and people are taking sides in noticeable ways. As it now stands, we have something of a "cold war" going on as it once existed between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Espionage, intelligence breaches, clandestine black bag operations, fifth column saboteurs, and the like. But important questions remain: As the war continues, how will the conflict evolve? Will it escalate? If so, what will be the flashpoint that puts it in full motion? Will it turn into a full-fledged armed conflict? As the storm clouds gather, a short history retrospective might shed some light on things to come.
November 6, 1860, President Lincoln is elected President of the United States. South Carolina would be the first state to secede from the Union a mere six weeks later. In January, five more states would follow. In February, Texas votes for secession and joins the newly established Confederate States of America. A constitution is ratified and former Senator and U.S. Secretary of War Jefferson Davis is appointed President of the Confederacy. Lincoln has yet to be inaugurated.
One week after Lincoln’s March 4 inauguration, Fort Sumter is bombarded by Confederate troops. Union troops are forced to surrender. Virginia secedes days later. On April 19, Lincoln issues a “Proclamation of Blockade Against Southern Ports” that formally recognizes “an insurrection against the Government of the United States.”
In June, two limited military engagements in Virginia, the “Battle of Sewell’s Point” and the “Battle of Aguia Creek” are fought to inconclusive results. The war spreads to West Virginia, and Missouri, resulting in the first two Union victories. Confederate forces achieve their first victory in the “Battle of Big Bethel” in Virginia.
On July 21, four months after President Lincoln is sworn in, the “First Battle of Bull Run” becomes the first major battle of the war. The First American Civil War would continue for the next three and a half years.
Thankfully, our current conflict has not yet approached military proportions, anti-Trump riots notwithstanding. These are little more than angry tantrums from an infantilized sector of the population who understand nothing of survival and self-sufficiency. In military terms they don’t even qualify as skirmishes. And these melodramatic posers don’t come close to being a genuine insurgency.
All Americans should pray that it stays this way. And we should always remember the words of General William Tecumseh Sherman:
“I am sick and tired of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation. War is hell.”
But make no mistake. There is a major fight coming. Perhaps it will stay in the courts, and among our legislators, perhaps not. Is reconciliation possible? There may be a remote chance of that, but it looks more and more like each side of the growing divide have no intention of backing down. America hasn’t faced this kind of disunity since 1861.
How can the liberals go to war against the people who own most of the guns?

Like the bomber BILL AYERS friends said years ago. They would get help overthrowing the USA from the North Vietnamese and Cubans!
I can imagine right wing death squads, trained star chamber types who take out the most offensive left wingers, and left wing goon squads, feral armed thugs who target whites and kill them. In order to develop a full out conflict would require a breakdown of civil society, perhaps related to a massive terrorist attack such as a nuke on American soil. I can also imagine Balkanization of America along the lines of Prayers for the Assassin.
I for one, would like to get thing over with, here and now.
Every day, another thousands foreign invaders come here. Most of them will never assimilate. They come from third world hell holes and wish to turn America into the same.
The time to exterminate the leftist should come sooner than later.

There is actually a buying spree of firearms occuring with leftists since November and they are forming their own “resistance” groups. Factor in that with already armed islamists, anarcho-communists, criminal illegals, the BLM/NBPP and gangbangers and you have the makings of an armed insurgency capable of bringing chaos to major urban areas.
Fort Sumter was bombarded on April 12, 1861. That was more than a month after Lincoln was sworn in, not one week later.
Wouldn't that sort of be like a self cleaning oven?

Something I have come to realize over the last year. The First Civil War never ended. It just went to smoldering. It has been fought continuously since 1861, but by less violent means.
Wealthy New York Liberals controlled the nation back then, and Wealthy New York Liberals mostly control the nation now. They still use the government as their puppet to funnel money to themselves and their empire, while preaching down at us lowly "deplorables" for not adopting their latest new found morality that they think makes them better than us.
Yes, to a large degree, until they run out of food and trash/burn out their own beds- then they start in raging on the middle class suburbs (which has already happened in a few instances). Combine that with a hostile deep state that would rather see Trump gone; roughly half the population that either engages in, encourages or sypathizes with all of the elements above. It’s not unreasonable to see such a scenario unfold.

What is occurring now might not be the beginning of a civil war; it might be the beginning of the collapse of Western Civilization.
Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution (often referred to as The Theory of Survival of the Fittest) describes the positive effects resulting from any “pressure” on an animal species that removes the least fit among the species and allows only the most fit of the species to reproduce. Many of us are well aware of this “Survival of the Fittest” theory, but few are aware that Darwin also makes mention of the negative effects resulting from unlimited reproduction of a species’ least fit when the weak, the lazy, and the stupid are left unchecked.
We like to think otherwise, but our species, Homo sapiens-sapiens, isn’t that long “out of the trees” and the same laws of nature that affect all of God’s creatures apply equally to us. If we were to observe any other species that had been allowed to reproduce without limitations, we would know immediately what the consequences will be.
Whenever the weak; lazy; and stupid of a species are allowed to reproduce unimpeded by predators that feed off the weak; lazy; and stupid, they soon outnumber the strong, productive, and intelligent. When the weak/lazy/stupid dominate the gene pool, the entire population becomes weak/ lazy/stupid, and then the population collapses.
In the past, when these collapses occurred within human populations, they have been referred to as a “Malthusian Collapse.” Thomas Malthus, a Nineteenth Century Economist, thought these collapses were caused simply because past civilizations had reached a point where human populations could no longer produce sufficient food supplies to feed themselves, but he never pinned down the exact reason for the food shortages.
I now think some of these collapses of past human civilizations may have occurred when the unproductive weak/lazy/stupid greatly outnumbered the strong/productive/intelligent of the population. In other words, the majority of the population became too lazy to perform the work necessary to provide for themselves and what was left of the strong/productive/intelligent refused to continue to do it for them.
These collapses have occurred at frequent intervals throughout human history, and Western Civilization is, in my humble opinion, currently on the cusp of one of these collapses.
The Dummycrat party has cast off the cloak of the “moderate” and shown its true face, unrepentant , violent Marxists.
Quite simply, Marxism and Americanism are incompatible philosophies. This nation has been heading for a conflict based on these two opposed ideologies since the 1930s.
