This is one of those posts where you’d only detract from its power if you said much, so I’m not going to say much. If you’re not a football fan and you don’t instantly recognize Ray Lewis, he recently retired after a certain Hall of Fame career with the Baltimore Ravens. He’s had his own scrapes with the law. He doesn’t claim to be a perfect man, but you can’t watch this and fail to recognize that he’s speaking directly from his heart.

If BLM really cared about black lives they would have been protesting the murder of a 1 year old child recently in Compton at the hands of gang bangers, they killed her while she stood in her crib, not a peep from these BLM thugs, this beautiful little girl wasn’t killed by a cop so no reason to protest

Ray Lewis complaining about black on black crime. I would guess Richard Lollar’s family would find that ironic.
Or they might recognize that some learn and grow from their past. Or should former addicts never be allowed to lead NA meetings, no alcoholics in AA lead AA meetings, only parents who never made mistakes can write parenting books, etc

Only reason I never got arrested is because I never got caught.

Good for him. Probably guilt from his own past, but maybe that guilt is what brings the passion. It’s not just the murders - it’s other stuff kids now see and experience that never used to be the case.
AFAIK, there are not multiple colors of souls. People getting hung up in superficials are courting heartbreak and tragedy.
Or gratefulness to God for mercy in the face of his follies.

For all this guy’s faults, he really goes out on a limb here by taking a stand that he knows will be very unpopular with “his people” and contradicts the media narrative on the subject. It’s a pretty remarkable stand to take for someone who works in the leftist media these days.
