It's beyond certain that Ted was never even on the short or long Trump list for veep...not for two seconds.
It WAS a favorite combination for a lot of folks on this board for a long time, but they didn't anticipate that waiting for Cruz's name on a Trump ticket was like waiting for the Robert E. Lee.....and a leaky rowboat showed up instead.....and it's now sinking before their very eyes.

Cruz has not run with good intentions IMHO.

I agree. Plus, Cruz brings nothing the ticket, Texas will be fine for Trump in the general and his firebrand, preacher type of politics would hurt in swing states.
Cruz was on O’Reilly tonight and said once again he’s the “only one who can beat Trump”. He said he’ll win California and NY! Tell me this man is not delusional.
He was not supposed to get smoked tonight in Arizona the way he did. So much for all those “late deciders” always going for Cruz. Romney even made robo calls for Cruz, saying a vote for Kasich was a vote for Trump. There’s also plenty of Mormans in Arizona and they went for Trump. Maybe Cruz can get 50% of Mormans in Utah and pick up 40 delegates, but it makes no difference. It’ll be his his last win. He’s finished, but to arrogant to admit the obvious.
Apparently an anti-trump super-pac used a GQ photo of Melania in their ad. Somehow it’s Cruz’s fault that she decided to pose sans clothing and that a non-Cruz group is using a photo from her super-model days. Haven’t seen and don’t want to see Mrs. Trump in such a state. Her website’s home page already sports an unladylike pose; one has to know she has a fashion business, otherwise it’s hard to tell what’s she’s selling until the picture morphs into a clickable site for her caviar-based skin care products and her jewelry designs.
Trump was endorsed by the AZ go and the Sheriff...aND Cruz will win Utah... so it’s a split.

California has the same demographics as Arizona, very doubtful. As to NY, what in Gods name is the man talking about. He takes a shot at NY values and doesn’t think they will remember. I come from the NorthEast; they will approach this like a football game and run the score up.
Gotta admit, Ted had me fooled for a while there. After several months I began to have second thoughts. Heading into the holidays I was done with him.
